So, AutoZone not only screwed up my maternity leave, filled my position and terminated me, they won't let me collect unemployment, saying I voluntarily quit my job. I did not. I went to Leitchfield on May 18 to request part time hours. Told my manager I could do some lunch shifts but that I cannot work at night. He told me that evening shift is all he could give me because he's fully staffed, but could use me at night. Then, he told me to ask around to the stores closer and see if they have hours available, not him as my manager do his job to find available hours. Which, I did ask the store manager where I live about hours and he says they're cutting hours, and I told him what I was told about finding my own hours, he couldn't believe it. So, on June 23 I received a final check from AutoZone for the few remaining vacation hours I had not used. No notice, no letter if termination, just a final check.

It's been a real struggle last few weeks. What little money I make reselling, goes for gas and bills. I still haven't got any thing figured out from the doctor, but some days are worse than others. My doctor sent referrals to a couple of neurologist, but still haven't heard back from anyone. I'm afraid it's getting too close to the end of the year, and still no way to purchase the home. I can't afford to move, but I'll be left with no choice if the owner sells the house to someone else.

I won't go into detail, but I am a single mom because of a complicated relationship I recently got out of. It has always been my dream to open a little store, which I have merchandise and currently sell from my vehicle whenever I can get the chance. But, I know my dream can come true, to open a physical store. We need help collecting the funds to purchase the house we are renting. It has a building on the property that is commercial property. Just needs some work. It would be a place for my kids to always call home and a steady income as the younger ones grow up. If anything happens to me, the older ones wouldn't have to worry about the future because they would have the business and the home to help take care of the younger siblings.
