We are raising this fundraiser for Lakota Wildcat who is currently in St. Francis Hospital in tulsa for an accidental gunshot wound to the head. The bullet went through the roof of his mouth, gone passed the sinus area of the nose and ended up stopping behind his left eye where it fragmented near the optic nerve. We hope to have everyone's prayers to help Lakota heal and the support we need to use for extended travels back and forth. Thank you for the support and prayers for Lakota Squirrel Wildcat.

We would like to raise money for our 3 loved ones who lost their battle to COVID-19 from the Wind River Indian Reservation. All three passed away on April 20, 2020. Gloria was the first to pass, followed by her loving husband Lawerence, 38 minutes later. They were together fighting for their lives at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. Later that night their daughter Dawn also passed away while in Lander Sagewest Hospital. They were three of the first Northern Arapaho Tribal members who lost their lives to COVID-19. Kai is such a smart, energetic, and loving 22 month old. For the last few weeks Kai has been showing signs of sickness and after several doctor visits he was rushed to St. Francis hospital in Tulsa, OKlahoma where he was diagnosed on May 12, 2016 with T-Cell leukemia. This form of leukemia is only found in adults. Doctors have said that this type of leukemia is a combination that nobody nationwide has seen in a child. Doctors believe treating this type of leukemia will be a very slow and a purposeful procedure. <img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/11435133_1463352454.7313_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" />  Kai comes from a large and loving family who are committed to helping others in need. He is the youngest of seven children, all of which are all wonderful, smart, caring and native cultured individuals . Not only are his siblings wonderful but both of his parents work with helping children and their families on a day to day basis. These two amazing parents are involved in the community and get great joy by helping others.  The family is involved in the church here in Tahlequah and the father also works closely with the local church, Cherokee stomp grounds and the community. <img class="not-resizable" src="https://2dbdd5116ffa30a49aa8-c03f075f8191fb4e60e74b907071aee8.ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/11435133_1463352623.8212_funddescription.jpg" alt="" width="100%" /> This is the start of a very long road for Kai and his family. <div>Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t like to ask for a thing and that I work hard. These past 3 months have taken a heavy toll on my family. My son took his life and my daughter, his best friend and myself found him. This has been the hardest and most difficult time for my family. Things seem to keep getting harder for us, between legal matters, bills and wanting to get him a headstone for his grave. The cheapest we have found is 3500 but with the add on it’s close to 7500. I work 2 jobs 7 days a week. At Cherokee nation I am covered by fmla but on the days I cannot manage to go to work I don’t get paid so I have had some short checks and my side job is a struggle at times for me to focus and I just need a break. I feel like I’m drowning . Every time a bill is paid it’s due again. I feel like I will never be able to get his headstone and could just really use some help, I absolutely hate to ask but I am not sure what else to do at this point . My daughter and I realized we were in shock and still are but the grieving hits us so hard now it’s unbearable. It’s a bad dream and I know my son did not mean to hurt us and was not in the right state of mind and was mentally pushed. My son loved everyone he knew and I have had so many people message me to tell me stories about him and working at Walmart being the phone guy and how amazing he was. He was truly amazing he just struggled with this cruel world. His funeral cost 13,000 . Cherokee Nation did pay a big part but we had to come out of pocket for a decent amount . If anyone is willing to help our family I truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart , even if you could just share this it would help us and please keep my family in your prayers as none of us are handling this well at all.
