For quite some time now, I have been without a place to call home. Each day brings new challenges, and it’s been difficult not having any family nearby who can help. I’ve been doing my best to get by on my own, but it’s not easy when you don’t have a safe place to sleep or a roof over your head. I am reaching out because I need to come up with rent and a deposit so I can finally move into a place of my own and start rebuilding my life. Having a home would mean so much more than just shelter. It would give me the safety and stability I need to get back on my feet, find work, and begin to heal from this difficult chapter. I truly believe that with a little help, I can turn things around and, once I’m settled, I hope to pay it forward by helping others who are going through tough times too.
