What they care about

Help Us Give 10–15 Outdoor Cats a Warm Winter Shelter Hi, my name is Lauren, founder of LC & Friends Scales & Fur Unite LLC. What began with feeding cats after a neighbor passed away has grown into caring for approximately 10–15 outdoor cats coming from all around the neighborhood. Some are friendly, others are fearful, but they all know they can come here for food, fresh water, kindness, and a safe place to rest. With another freezing Michigan winter approaching, these cats urgently need a warm, dry place to escape the snow, wind, and dangerous temperatures. We are raising money for a large, weatherproof insulated cat house, along with straw bedding, heated food and water bowls, and additional winter protection. I feed these cats every day from my own front porch and do everything I can for them, but providing safe shelter for this many cats is more than I can manage alone. Every donation will go toward creating a secure and weather-ready area where they can eat, sleep, and feel protected. Any additional funds will be used for cat food, flea prevention, and other essential care for the outdoor kitties. No donation is too small. If you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser. Every share helps us reach another animal lover who may be able to help. Together, we can give these cats the warmth and protection they deserve before winter arrives. Thank you for caring about the outdoor kitties who are so often overlooked. LC & Friends Scales & Fur Unite LLC Kindness Has No Species scalesfurunite.com
️️ In Memory of Buddy Buddy's memory reminds us that every animal deserves love, safety, and a second chance. Hi, I'm Lauren, founder of LC & Friends. I'm raising funds to support Detroit's homeless and forgotten animals and the dedicated rescuers who work tirelessly to save them. Rouge Park has become one of the most heartbreaking places for abandoned animals. Countless stray, injured, sick, and neglected cats and dogs are left to survive on their own. Many never receive the help they desperately need. Despite working full-time jobs, compassionate volunteers spend their evenings and weekends rescuing animals, trapping community cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), feeding colonies, helping outdoor animals, providing emergency care, and finding loving forever homes. Every donation will go directly toward helping Detroit animals and supporting trusted local outreach efforts and independent rescuers where the need is greatest. Your support helps provide: TNR for community cats Emergency veterinary care Food and rescue supplies Outreach for outdoor animals Transportation and rescue equipment Foster care and adoption support No donation is too small. If you can't give, please share this fundraiser. Together, we can give Detroit's forgotten animals the hope and second chance they deserve. ❤️ In memory of Buddy, thank you for helping save lives—one paw at a time.
