⚠️URGENT⚠️ After M has been phisically and mentally harmed by their relative just a week ago, their phone that contained not only very dear memories but also important data from their internship and important documents that they had no back up of. The loss of these documents could result in M being unable to start the next semester in their uni, and having to repeat the year. Why has their phone been broken? Because their relative has chosen to believe the lies told by M's rapist, without any proof, just because he happens to be an old friend of hers. Because of everything going on, M experienced a split due to their BPD, and had chosen to leave the place they felt unsafe in, before they would end up doing something extremely harmful. I paid for M to stay in a safe place for two days, away from their family members, and tried figuring out what was the best step to take next, but due to lack of funds, M had to return home. Not only did they have no clothes with them, but their passport was left there, and most importantly, M really wanted to make sure their cat wasn't being harmed as a revenge form from their family. Unfortunately, as soon as they returned, M was stripped of their passport, id, money and phone, threatened with the police even though they didn't do anything wrong, and forced to end all contact with me. As for now, M has very little access to any technology they could contact me from, but they were able to reach out and tell me everything. They have indeed been harmed, and have a very painful wound on their chest. They are under very strict watch, not allowed to go outside, and I'm very worried that they might be lacking the food they need once again. The only way for me to really help M is to be able to fly there, with the proper funds and with the help of the authorities and one non profit organization, to be able to help them escape and move in on their own. I have already paid for their phone to be fixed before they returned home and they were thankfully able to retrieve all the important data from their phone for their university. As for all our donations so far, i have placed them in a separate account that M will be able to use for their necessities as soon as they have acces to their phone once again. For now, I will proceed by saving as much as possible from my paychecks and hopefully, in three months from now, I'll be able to return to M and help them with all the money that I saved, and all of your donations. If I can put aside around 5.000€ it should be more than enough for M's security deposit and first month of rent, necessities and vet bills for their cat, and maybe even enough to pay the rent in advance for a while. Today I am here to present you a humble cause that I hope we can all unite and stand for, which is the current situation of my friend, M. M is a student who has been suffering through many kinds of abuse coming from their own family their entire life. Their family uses financial and control abuse to ensure M has no oportunity to have their own money, and therefore M is trapped, even as an adult under their family's control. They are often mistreated, kept from basic necessities such as food, and the worst of all, sexually harassed by their own family members. Not only that but this terrible way of living has caused M terrible anxiety to the point where the medical issues they experience are countless. The only way out for M is to be able to afford moving out on their own un til they finish their studies, but to do that, first we need to gather the funds to pay for their security deposit, as well as money for the rent and basic necessities for at least one month. I am already trying to help supporting M on my own with money from my minimum wage job, but I am afraid it isn't enough, and we don't have much time. The consequences M has to suffer are heavily affecting their mental health and wellbeing. M needs housing, food, and medical care for themselves and their cat, whom their family have been misstreating as well. M has noody else to rely on, no bank account due to the laws of their country and barely any work oportunities which they cannot take because of their abusive family. M is the most important person in this world to me, which is why today I am begging everyone and anyone to help them escape this misserable situation, to be able to look forward to a better life. If we can raise sufficient funds to help M, I will personally fly to their country and make sure they have everything they need, like an accomodation, sufficient food for themselves and their cat, enough comfort and any other resources as clothing and school materials that they may need to leave behind when fleeing their home.
