My dad has been here for over 30 years, has a clean record, and has always worked honestly. He only has us, and we would appreciate anything you can contribute. <div>Hello, my name is Synthea, wife of Erick. Together with our two little ones, we are the Pena family.

<div>Recently, we had a terrible fear come true when Erick was racially profiled and forcibly detained by ICE in October, despite having approved paperwork and an ongoing process. There he spent 3 months, missing our first Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas together in 12 years, as well as spending his 29th birthday alone in jail. Along with our attorney, we fought endlessly and were graciously able to bring him home recently, but our fight is not over. Erick still faces possible deportation while we try to continue our legal process to obtain his residency. During all of this, we have accumulated debt trying to keep up with life and legal costs, and still have quite a long and costly journey ahead of us.

<div>Since being released, Erick continues to work tirelessly for our family, despite the constant fear of this happening again, which allows me to continue studying as a full-time student and stay-at-home mom. Help Our Family Have A Future Without Fear

<div>Hello! As most of yall know about Madalynns story from a tiktok video, Madalynn suffered from CVST (Cerebral Venous Sinus Thrombosis) &amp; was in the hospital for 10+ days. We were in the hospital for so long because 5 doctors, 1 nurse practitioner, &amp; 10+ nurses ignored Madalynn’s cry for help, &amp; didn’t want to do additional testing. After fighting &amp; going back and fourth with so many people I demanded a MRI to be done &amp; we wouldn’t leave the hospital without answers. Shortly after the MRI was done, they found a blood clot in Madalynn’s Brain which she then had to be transported to another hospital for surgery &amp; was put on 4+ daily medications for 4 months.

<div>We lost her Medicaid a month before she was hospitalized &amp; I was denied for Medicaid 3+ different times during &amp; after her hospital stay due to the job I had at the time.(which did not protect me with FMLA or the absences I had due to me not being with the company for 1+ year) As a single mother who provides for Madalynn financially by myself, I am asking for just a little bit of help to pay off some of her medical bills.
