In many small rural communities, too many people—especially the elderly, children, widows, and struggling families—go to bed hungry every single night. Some haven’t had a full meal in days. Others live in places where help rarely reaches. The need is real, and the silence is heartbreaking. The Free Food Project was created with one purpose: VIA BELL AND US Foundation. To provide free, nutritious food to the poor in rural areas where hunger is often ignored. This includes not just hot, cooked meals—but also food packs, dry goods, groceries, and other food support for households in need. This project is deeply personal to me. I lost my beloved mother, Virginia Nwaubani, in February 2016, and this initiative is a tribute to her life and legacy. She was a kind, selfless woman known in her community for sharing food with anyone in need—always giving, always caring, and always feeding others from a place of deep compassion. Now, through this project, her giving spirit lives on—touching lives the same way she did. --- Here’s how your support can help: $5 feeds 2 people $20 feeds a whole family $100 supports a full day of food outreach We’ve already started with what little we have—but the need is far greater than our current resources. With your support, we can reach more forgotten homes, more hungry children, and more rural families in need. Please donate and share. Even if you can’t give right now, simply sharing this campaign could help us reach someone who can. --- In memory of Virginia Nwaubani, let’s feed the forgotten. Let’s bring hope to rural tables—one meal, one package, one family at a time.
