I am reaching out because I need support during one of the most difficult times in my life. After leaving an abusive home, I moved to San Diego hoping for stability, but my housing situation with a roommate fell through and I ended up homeless. I found shelter, but the conditions were unsafe—there was mold, roaches, and expired food. The environment was harsh, and I was written up after being assaulted by another resident. The supervisor has targeted me for exposing his behavior, allowing unsafe people to stay while trying to force me out. On the same day he planned to remove me, I developed sepsis and lost the ability to walk. I am also battling pneumonia and am taking it slow as I learn to walk again.
I am asking for help to cover basic needs like food, resources, and a safe place to stay while I recover. Your support will help me live comfortably and regain my independence as I relearn to walk. The funds will make a real difference in my life, giving me the chance to heal and move forward.
I would love your help. Thank you for being a part of our community! We're all perfect.
