- Lucy is my best friend who has already survived more than most dogs ever will at just 4 years old. Lucy was diagnosed with lymphoma in March and completed CHOP and was in remission for 8 months. After going through chemotherapy and radiation for lymphoma, she suddenly developed aspiration pneumonia and ended up fighting for her life. Lucy recovered from the ICU (for the second time this year), she's playing again, and her spirit is as strong as ever. But her cancer is now returning, and her lungs need to be stable enough for her to restart treatment. I am doing everything possible: medications, imaging, hospital visits, oncology consults, supportive care, and endless love. But the financial strain is becoming overwhelming with repeated oncology checks, chest X-rays, hospitalization bills, and the cost of chemo. Lucy is full of life — literally playing ball from the moment she wakes up until she sleeps. She wants to be here. She wants to fight. And I want to give her every chance. Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly to: Oncology rechecks Chest X-rays and imaging Chemo if her lungs clear Supportive supplements and care If you can't donate, sharing this and praying for her means the world. Lucy has so much more life to live. Thank you for reading her story and supporting her fight.
