What they care about

My name is Taylor Moné and I am the wife of Chef Briscoe. While doing what he love he suffered a tragic accident and as his wife, I’m humbly asking for support.

Good evening everyone! I am happy to share that Chef Briscoe has completed all three surgeries and is now in a rehabilitation center to assist him with walking again! His strength and resilience is unmatched and I just want to thank everyone again for the abundance of prayers and support! While the asking goal has been met, Jason’s length of recovery is uncertain and with me having to take a leave in order to support our child as well as Briscoe once he gets back home, I will leave the GoFundMe donation portal open to ensure his medical bills and our stability to maintain our home are two less worries. I thank you all again and ask that you all keep us in your prayers.
Good evening community! I’m Taylor Mone and I am the wife of Jason Briscoe aka Chef Briscoe. I was in Jamaica with my husband and our children on vacation celebrating his birthday and a welcome home after not being in Jamaica for almost 10 years. I never would’ve imagined receiving a phone call from Jamaica police that would change our lives forever. Being stuck on an island that started out as paradise and ended as a nightmare is something that will live with us forever. From the tragic accident happening, to being in St. Ann’s Hospital that couldn’t properly care for my husband, to them throwing away his clothing that had his identification card, bank card, and money, to trying to be an advocate for my husband’s well being and not feeling heard, this was the scariest moment of my life and I had never felt so helpless and alone. Even through all the pain endured, I still just want to say thank you. It’s because of your kindness and generosity that we are at 85% of the asking goal for getting Chef Briscoe the necessary care in order to make a full recovery. I am honored to inform you all that Chef Briscoe has successfully gone through back surgery as well as cosmetic surgery to address the scars on his face which were both deemed successful by his surgical team. As of this afternoon, Briscoe has had his first session of physical therapy which is the beginning process of being able to walk fully on his own again. While this is great news to share, Chef Briscoe will still have a long road ahead of him when it comes to getting back to 100%. I humbly ask that you all continue to pray for my husband and our family as we navigate through this storm to get Chef Briscoe back in kitchen and one day, back on his bike. If you can donate and/or share our story to your community, it would mean the world to us! #PrayersforChefBriscoe ❤️
