<div>Jessica has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer- invasive ducal carcinoma Stage 3. She had just turned 32 years old when she received this devastating news.

<div>Jessica has had 17 chemo treatments, 16 radiations and 2 surgeries to date. She has at least 1 more surgery in her future. Jessica has just completed 11 of the 14 chemotherapy's in her second round.

<div>Jessica has a 1.5 year old son, Oakland. Oakland is her pride and joy! He is the reason she continues to fight every single day!

<div>In February 2023 Jessica's maternity benefits ended. She has since been denied all disability funds and any financial aid. The financial strain has been overwhelming and extremely difficult for her.

<div>"Physically, I can’t keep up with my toddler like I would like to. I went from an active lifestyle to choosing when I can do an activity. Financially it has been the hardest. Making sure you have gas to go to your appointments and food for your family. Money for meds so you can make sure the side effects are easier on you. My relationships with others are extremely strained, lots has changed. I have lost a few people and have gained some really great people as well. Work wise- I will not be able to return to my normal job which is very hard to accept. My outlook on life has changed because I look at every moment like it may be my last."

Hello My name Is Amanda, &amp; I am making this Go Fund Me for my Dad Chad Desabrais. Ive known him since I was 10 years old yes he is my Step dad but I just know him as Dad. he helped my mother raise me and my younger Brother Tyler. In 2007 I lost my mother she passed away and dad was there for us. he will always be A big part of my life and kids life. I always thought he was invincible like nothing could ever hurt him, nothing could bring him down he is definitly a protector of loved ones and a great man! lots of people know him by his nickname Grumpy.. yes he can be a grump and have a tough exterior but he also cares a lot and would do anything for his family. But our year was rocked in 2019 when we got the news that he had Cancer :,(. My dad is a single dad of two boys Jp(14) Kingston(5) Father to two older adult kids Me(31), Tyler (29) &amp; Grumpa to two Grandkids Sophie(4) &amp; Julie(2). He Got Cancer diagnoses in June 2019, got laid off work while off on a knee injury, had surgery in Oct, removed parts of his throat, soft palate, mass in neck and lymph nodes, they removed 137 lymph nodes, 39 were positive for cancer. While hes doing radiation and chemo hes unable to return to the work force. hes out of pocket $500 a month for mdications and his gas bills to travel to and from Edmonton from REC were costing him over $1000 a month. He had to re locate to Edmonton for recovery after surgery and treatments and didnt have a place to live. had to keep going up to Red Earth to pack and back to Edmonton. He now stays with us for the time being so he has a place to stay in the city and by treatment. But hes no longer able to do 50/50 custody of the boys like planned because of treatment and housing. Hes also been dealing with very severe and negative side effects. This was not his idea at all to make A Go Fund me. But he fully endorses it. I am making this to help him out. If I could take away the pain and negative side effects of all of this I would. But I cant so I will stand up and do something for him even if people could help donate a little bit it will add up. or even share this. thank you for your time and donations greatly appreciated. and one more thing... Helping My Dad Fund

Dear Friends &amp; Family,<br />Ted &amp; I are starting a go fund me page for our 8 year old Granddaughter Peyton, who has been admitted into the Calgary Childrens Hospital as of Friday May 26,2017. She has been in contact with a serious but rare form of e.coli infection and now her kidney's are not functioning properly.  Doctors have said her condition is called HUS and she has kidney disease and fighting for her life. Our poor fur baby Jacob has a severe case of pancreatitis and with out days upon days of medical attention , procedures , hydration, ultrasounds medication and lots of specialty veterinarian care he may not make it. 
With that being said the costs are building up considerably we are looking at somewheres around $4000 to cover all the cost to help him 
After a few large financial setbacks with the last couple months unfortunately and sadly we just don't have the money. 
There is no shame in my game when it comes to helping other people and I'm not too proud to ask for help when I need it I will get over the embarrassment and press on and do whatever it takes to help one of my family members so if you could help me in anyway our family would be forever in debt

<br />On August 17, 2016 Ashlee's brother Matt went into cardiac arrest. He was deprived of oxygen and CPR in those critical few moments. After being defibrillated 17 times and constant CPR, Matt was not expected to live. <br /><br />Immediately after being notified Ashlee dropped everything and rushed to be with her brother in B.C. staying by his side for six days while he was in an induced coma. <br />Ash didn't think twice about her job, her sole source of income. Ash has incurred ongoing personal debt and expenses as a result of her selfless actions. Matt was brought slowly out of his coma on August 23rd not knowing where he was, what had happened to him or anything else about his life. The lack of oxygen at the very beginning may have caused some brain damage but it is too early to tell. Matt remains in the ICU in B.C and so does Ashlee.<br /><br />Family is so important to a brain injured person and anyone in hospital in an unknown situation. The closeness and familiarity of a loved one is paramount to recovery.<br />Please help Ash to remain by her brother's side to help him recover. <br /><br />Ashlee has given so much to the community and is always helping others in need, let's do what we can to help support her and her family  through these difficult times. My name is Brooke, I am writing this on behalf of an amazing, caring person who has given everything and more to her family, friends, and everyone around her. Ronni Dixie has a rare autoimmune disease called Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC). PBC causes the bile ducts to inflame resulting in cirrhosis of the liver, and scar tissue to accumulate until the liver fails.  Along side all the complications that come with PBC, Ronni has type 2 Diabetes, and several other diagnosed autoimmune conditions. Ronni has been working along side a wonderful team of transplant doctors in Edmonton at the UoA hospital in the hopes to find a live doner that will be able to give Ronni the right lobe of thier liver. Once a Doner is found Ronni will recive a call and be given a few hours to collect her things before heading to Edmonton. Once Ronni has had the transplant done she will have to be in the hopspital for minimum a month. Once released from the hospital she will be in a sanatized apartment in Edmonton for minimum of another 2 months until the anti-rejection drungs have started working. The first 3 months are the most dangerous, due to the new liver trying to be accepted. Some of the life saving drugs that are needed cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. With your donations Ronni will be able to afford a safe place to stay while recovering and all the life saving drugs she needs. More information to come.....

Ronni's Liver Transplant Recovery 

My son-in-law Jason has been sick since October 2014, hospitalized on 4 seperate occassions for at least a week and for as long as a month and has received 14 blood transfusions. Up until July of 2015 Jason had not been officially diagnosed, Doctors did not really know what was wrong with him. He has now been diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Disease, with a life-expectancy of 1-3 years without a liver transplant. Because of his condition Jason's immune sytem is very suspectible to any sort of cough, flu or diseases. He was initially denied disability but is now being re-evaluated. <br /><br />During all this Jason's youngest Son Lincoln was born January 2015. He is 43 years old and a Father to 4 children. He is self-employed and has not been able to work for almost a year.<br /><br />He is very fortunate to still be with us and fighting after getting through this past year.<br /><br />Please give generously; Jason was born and raised in Grande Prairie, any support would give this family much needed relief. Please share and spread Jason's message to anyone you can think of.
