Hi everyone, My name is Kimesha. Hurricane Melissa completely devastated my mother’s & sister’s home in Jamaica, the place I was born and raised, Bath Mountain. They are all alive and not injured, all praise and thanks to God. Their home was completely destroyed due to a landslide caused by the hurricane. They live in a rural area that now has very limited access to food, clean water, and shelter. Seeing photos and hearing their voices over the phone breaks my heart. I feel helpless knowing they’re going through this while I’m miles away. I created this GoFundMe to raise money to help them rebuild their home and get back on their feet. Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward essentials like food, water, temporary shelter, and rebuilding materials. My family means everything to me, and it’s heartbreaking to see them go through something no one should ever experience.
