Officer Richard Craig

My mother passed away unexpectedly at home. When I called 911, paramedics and two officers arrived and found her on the side of the bed in a small space. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow to help us understand what happened. Our family is struggling to cope with this sudden loss, and we did not have life insurance to help cover the costs.
<br>
<br>
 We want to give my mom a decent funeral and burial, but we are on a tight budget. Our household supports three orphans and three teens, and we do not receive any government assistance or supplemental aid. The funds raised will help with funeral and burial expenses, including the coffin, flowers, obituaries, a minister for the eulogy, and transport costs to her home city where most of our family lives. Your support will make a meaningful difference for our family during this difficult time.
<br>
<br>
 Our family will be very grateful for any support you are able to give. Every month, we pay the mortgage late just to keep food on the table, so any help you can provide is deeply appreciated. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity during our painful time of need.

Help Our Family Give Mom a Dignified Farewell

<div>This morning, there was an explosion (implosion) at the Nippon paper factory.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This claimed the lives of at least 5 people.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One of them was my good friend Gilbert Bernal, who was one of the best people I have ever met. He was a Godly man in every sense of the word.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am starting this GoFundMe with his wife’s knowledge and support, she will have all access to the funds (I don’t)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>All the funds raised will be used for funeral expenses and other needs for the family.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please consider helping out some of the best people I know.

Support for Gilbert Bernal's Family After Tragedy

<div>Hello, my name is Lori, my daughter, Ava, has been in Scott and White Hospital/ICU in Temple, Texas for the past thirty plus days. She started out not feeling well with nausea and dizziness which landed Ava in the ER. Upon multiple testing, Ava has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma, Stage 4 - A VERY, VERY AGGRESSIVE BRAIN CANCER. Unfortunately, she is just a teenager who turned 19, March 21st, while in ICU and will not be able to finish out the last few months of high school and will not be able to graduate with her senior class in May due to this very serious disease.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My daughter is my entire world. I am a single mom and have had to take a FMLA at my job, without pay, to be there and care for Ava. She is scared and afraid to be alone. I have devoted all of my time to be by her side and support her through this ordeal. I’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease some of that burden—covering medical expenses, daily living costs, and travel expenses as we navigate this incredibly difficult time.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Ava is the sweetest, kindest, loving, considerate and most beautiful soul who is in need of a MIRACLE!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Sadly, Ava has been in ICU with a feeding tube, after her craniotomy, trying to regain her strength to undergo some very harsh radiation treatments. Due to the nature of the cancer and the treatments, Ava will not be going home for a very, very long time. Ava will eventually leave Scott &amp; White to be transferred to a hospital that specializes in this type of cancer treatment. As we navigate through this treatment journey, not knowing how long the journey will be. we anticipate that she will be transferred to San Antonio, Houston or Dallas.

</div>

<div>Please join us in Ava’s battle with brain cancer. The need for financial support is becoming critical, as we confront ongoing medical expenses and cost of living. Your donation would mean a great deal to us during this challenging time. Your thoughtfulness in sharing our needs with your friends and family is greatly appreciated. Ava and I thank you for your prayers, generosity, and compassion.
