 A few years ago, our dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. While many cases of prostate cancer can be successfully treated when caught early, his cancer was diagnosed at a much later stage, making his journey far more complex. Rather than a single surgery or short course of treatment, he has spent the last several years undergoing ongoing medical care, specialized injections, and medications to help keep the cancer under control.

 Our dad lives full-time in Mexico and does not have health insurance or medical coverage. Every doctor's visit, treatment, medication, and injection must be paid for out of pocket. Some of the injections he depends on cost more than $5,000 each. In addition, he must travel to another city to receive treatment from the medical team where he has established care, creating additional travel and lodging expenses. The treatments often leave him feeling very sick for several days afterward.

 For the past few years, my sisters and I have done everything we can to help cover these costs so our dad can continue receiving the care he needs. As the expenses have continued to grow and his ability to work has declined, we have reached a point where we can no longer do it alone.

<div>Alex proudly served our country as a Major in the United States Air Force for eight years. He was recently deployed in support of Operation Epic Fury, and on March 12, 2026, Alex made the ultimate sacrifice when his KC-135 plane crashed in western Iraq while serving his country.

<div>Alex was more than a serviceman. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, and the kind of person who would quietly step in to help anyone who needed it. He embodied what it means to be a servant leader. His loss has left an immeasurable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

<div>Libby and Alex built a beautiful life together and were raising three precious children: their energetic two-and-a-half-year-old and their seven-month-old twins. In an instant, Libby has been left to walk through profound grief while caring for their young family.

Standing with Meghan Through Her Treatment

<div>Hi Friends, we are going through every parents worst nightmare. On Monday, Nov. 25th, we found our vibrant, healthy 16 yr old son Caleb unresponsive. We know now, he is battling a very severe form of ADEM (Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis), which is a rare auto immune disease that causes inflammation and lesions in the brain and spinal cord.

<div>Looking back, there were a few signs and symptoms, but absolutely nothing to indicate something so serious. Caleb has always been a strong healthy boy. At the time of his injury, Caleb was a junior in high school and proudly played on the Varsity Football team. We joke at home that “Football is life!.” He has such a passion for the sport and always has. Caleb is an amazing son and big brother to his 3 younger siblings, Noah(11), Ella(7), and Gracie(4). He loves hard and cares deeply for his friends and family. He’s just an amazing kid.

<div>Caleb is now in a fight for his life. We are now 7 months into this nightmare. We have 3 other kids and are struggling to balance everything needed to be the best parents for not only Caleb, but his 3 siblings. The doctors have never seen a case like this - so all we can do is hope and pray he comes back to us.

<div>We’ve had so many people reach out and ask how they can help. Everyone’s kindness has completely blown us away! We wanted to create this space where anyone can read our story and I can provide updates and share pictures. Support Caleb’s Fight With ADEM

On May 1st, 2022 Mia Maro was taken from her family in a tragic incident that no one should have to experience. Mia was a beautiful soul and the light of our lives. She was a 17yr old girl who had a thirst for life. Mia was an amazing daughter, niece, sister, granddaughter and the best friend anyone could encounter. Mia's mother was incapacitated 3 years ago forcing her to grow up too quick. She stepped in at the age of 15 and quickly became a primary part in her mother's care. Mia did so with love and patience. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Mia absolutely adored her. 

<div>Mia's life was tragically cut short leaving a hole in the hearts of those who loved her. We are heartbroken by the loss.

<div>We are hoping to give Mia the services she deserves. Also due to the loss adjustments need to be made for the care of her mother and any other expenses that may arise as a result of this. We greatly appreciate any and all help. All funds raised will go to Mia's funeral and mother's care as well as any legal fees that may arise for Mia's mom and 2 brothers as a result of the tragic loss. All proceeds will be going directly to Linda Maro Mia's aunt and her moms caregiver. Funeral expenses for Mia Maro

Rebecca Crawforth went out on a Saturday night to an event at the Great Saltair. During this time,  a man who was reportedly dancing very aggressively pitched himself forward over the balcony. Rebecca was standing below this balcony and took the weight of his lengthy fall. She suffered multiple injuries including a severe compound fracture of her left tibia, rib contusions, multiple fractured vertebrae, and extensive ligamental damage. The man immediately ran off and has not yet been identified. <br />Rebecca was taken to a nearby hospital, has undergone extensive surgery to her left lower limb, and has been coping with severe amounts of pain as a result of her injuries. Rebecca was currently working for Intermountain Heathcare in Salt Lake City, Utah. She left her position this summer to finish pursuing her Bachelor's in nursing while simultaneously attending school for massage therapy, with plans to return to work as a nurse at the end of this year. She is currently unemployed and without health insurance. She is also unable to return to any form of employment due to her extensive injuries and a long road of recovery with months of crutches, a leg brace, and consistent use of a back brace.<br />Despite this incredibly challenging time, Rebecca feels blessed that her injuries were not worse that what they already are. Unfortunately, she still has a long journey of recovery ahead of her. Any support is greatly appreciated, no matter the size of contribution.

Rebecca Crawforth Hospital Fund

On March 16th, our mom Helena went in for a somewhat routine back fusion surgery. After a month of recovery time, she was still having severe muscle spasms and pain and was admitted back into the hospital only to find that there were complications from the initial surgery. This resulted in 2 additional surgeries. Doctors found that her bones were not strong enough to hold hardware in place and have told her that she may never heal 100%. Since then, she has been in the hospital and a live-in rehabilitation center in an effort to get her to heal and walk on her own. Because doctors were unable to fully fix the issue, recovery has been awful . She has difficulty walking and moving around on her own, even with the use of a walker and is in a great deal of pain. Because of this, she requires 24/7 care. Her insurance company will no longer pay for her stay at the rehabilitation center or hospital and she has been forced to go home. Her primary care taker is our dad Al who will exhaust his available medical leave time in about a month, leaving no one to care for her while he is at work. Her insurance company will not pay for in home health care. In addition, medical bills and other expenses such as bed rental, medication, and other medical supplies are piling up. <br /><br />We would like to help them in any way possible. Money can be used to find someone to come and help care for my mom, bills, and monthly medical expenses. If you feel compelled to give, it would be greatly appreciated.
