<div>Since early 2018 an idea was formed between three friends: Mwinyi, Richard and Me. We wanted to create a space where children could thrive and blooom with their creativity.

<div>In February 2020, We bought a plot in Michamvi, Zanzibar, Tanzania.

<div>One year later in February 2021 we got our building permit and we started building with the funds we had.

<div>2021 was a amazing year. Alot of intersting bonds and desicions was made.

<div>I (Inia Maria) met Elizaveta Kovaleva Raes and since our first meeting, Eliza has played a central part in supporting and fundraising for Roots of Hope community Centre. We a super happy And gratful to have her as part of our team

<div>Roots of Hope is a Non Goverment, Non Profit Organization in the heart of Michamvi Kae in Zanzibar.

<div>In August 2021 we first opened the colorful gate of the community centre with much Joy. We started to host courses in Acrobatics, Movement, Yoga, English and Art - painting classes. At the community centre only the classroom for Nutrition and Cooking classes is finsihed build. We wish to move our classes to the stage area and therfor have started this We are fundraising for:

<div>The purpose of this project is in the long run to run a sustainable, ecological, inspiring and rewarding center for children and young people on Zanzibar in Tanzania. We will facilitate and teach in various subjects within the cultural, ecological and academic. The goal is to be a complementary contribution for the local school and those who live in the local community. We want to create a place where children can unfold artistically and creatively in line with their traditions and culture. A place that strengthens their self-esteem and self-confidence. A place where you can feel a sense of belonging together in a safe and creative environment. We know how important it is for children to express themselves with colors, tones, movements, sounds and the different expressions that Zanzibar's cultural tradition is rich in.

Thank you so much for supporting Roots of hope organization to reach the goal of building our community centre.<br /><br /><strong>Introduction</strong><br />Roots of Hope Organization was founded in November of 2018 with the aim of creating a community centre for children in the heart of Michamvi, Zanzibar, Tanzania. The project was Founded by Inia Maria Rutgerson Sassebo (Norway),  Mnyamisi Mwinjuma (Tanzania) and Richard Tito (Tanzania). <br />In November 2018 we registered as an Ngo in Norway.<br />We used the summer of 2019 to raise awerness and funds for the project through selling handmade jewellery in different Markets in Norway. In January 2020 one of the founders of Roots of Hope moved to Zanzibar, Tanzania to build up the centre.  25 of February 2020 we bought the plot for the project.<br /><br /><strong>Our Mission</strong> is connecting, educating and supporting the children and young youth through cultural, artistic and physical activities. Focusing on nursing a youth that is dynamic, active, responsible and committed in the development process. <br /><br /><br /><strong>OUR VISION.</strong><br />Our vision is that Roots of Hope will offer a warm, safe, educational, and open community where children between the age 5-12 years old can freely participate in different courses offered at the centre. We want to work as an organization that operate as a community centre and gives the children of Michamvi a free opportunity to thrive in different fields and courses. We would strive for continued improvement of health, cultural and artistic activities for the children and young youth of Michamvi.<br />We want to offer the children an introduction to healthy activity and cultural interaction through music, dance, acrobatic, yoga, English, theater and a variety of art and craft activities.<br /><br />In october 2020 we started with inviting volunteers to the project plot.  It has been and still are a great help. Classroom 1:  will be used as an Art &amp; Craft room<br />2. Classroom 2: will be used as a teaching room <br />3. Classroom 3: will be used as a nursery room for the smallest kinds<br />4.
