My name is LATASHIA, and I am a single mother of seven children. Recently, my landlord put an eviction notice on our door. I went to the courthouse to try to stop the eviction, and even though I have a lawsuit against my landlord, we were still forced out of our home. This has been an incredibly difficult time for me and my kids, as we lost everything in the process. We are now starting over from scratch. I am doing this alone because my kids' father passed away, and I have no family or support system to help us. The funds from this fundraiser will help us secure new housing and replace the essentials we lost. My children and I need a safe place to stay and the basics to rebuild our lives. Anything you can give will make a difference for us. I am truly asking for help because I need it now more than ever. I am a single parent of seven children, and recently, my world was turned upside down. My landlord put an eviction notice on our door, and even though I went to court to protest it, things didn’t go in our favor. The sheriff told me I had to leave immediately or face jail, and I wasn’t allowed to get anything out of our house. Since then, my kids and I have been staying in a hotel, trying to keep a roof over our heads. We have no family, friends, or anyone else who can help us, and now I’m out of money. I’m doing everything I can to keep my children safe, but I’m running out of options and hope. The money raised here will go directly toward paying for our hotel room fees and food, so my kids and I can have shelter and not be out on the streets. We’re also hoping to save enough to find a new place to call home. Every bit of support, no matter how small, will help us get back on our feet and give my children a sense of stability again. Any and everything is a great support so me and my kids won’t be out in the cold or anything like that. Your support is very important to me and my family because we already lost our home of three years and everything in it, including my kids’ father’s things since he passed away, and all our clothes.
