<div>August 6th my sweet 6-year-old nephew, Kane was diagnosed with a Wilms tumour, a form of childhood kidney cancer. What started as concerns about sporadic vomiting and a distended abdomen quickly turned into a diagnosis that has changed life for Kane and his entire family overnight.

<div>August 10th Kane’s surgical team performed a challenging 7.5 hour surgery to remove the cancer along with his kidney. The large tumor has been sent for further testing, those results will give his oncology team a much clearer picture of what comes next. They have been informed his treatment plan will include both radiation and chemotherapy,

<div>In the days and months ahead, Kane’s parents (Tamara and Luke) will be focused on one thing: being beside their boy and helping him fight this.

<div>With treatment comes time away from work, travel to and from the children’s hospital, meals on the go, separation from Kanes siblings, along with so many unexpected expenses that come when normal life suddenly gets put on hold.

Kane’s courageous battle against childhood kidney cancer

<div>Our beautiful three-year-old niece, Callie, has recently been diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). In a single moment, our family’s world was turned upside down. While we know the journey ahead will be long and filled with challenges, we are holding tightly to hope and surrounding Callie with all the love and strength we can.

<div>Just two weeks before receiving this devastating diagnosis, Michael and Alannah welcomed their precious baby boy, Mack, into the world. What should have been a time filled with joy, celebration, and settling into life with their newborn has instead become an unimaginable journey of hospital stays, treatments, and uncertainty.

<div>As Callie begins treatment, her parents, Michael and Alannah, will be spending countless hours at the hospital, attending appointments, and making sure she has everything she needs to fight this battle. We are heartbroken to share that William Joseph Welch, a dedicated father of two wonderful boys: Jaden (18) and Logan (16) was fatally killed in a motor vehicle accident on Thanksgiving weekend. His loss leaves a profound void in the lives of his children and all of us who knew him. Will was a loving father who devoted his life to providing for and mentoring his boys. He always put his family first, and his absence will be felt deeply. As the family navigates this unimaginable loss, we want to ensure that Logan and Jaden have the support they need during this difficult time.

<div>Tanner Was a loving Husband and father, a talented and hard working individual who had a passion for truck his entire life and was very well known in the Trucking community.

On the evening of August 31, 2019 Brittany was in an ATV accident in the Coquihalla area where she went off a 30 foot cliff. Brittany suffered severe brain trauma and was placed in an induced coma as well as on a ventilator to assist with breathing. Brittany also suffered 12 broken ribs, a bruised lung, and a plethora of other injuries. Brittany’s fiancé, Taylor, as well as her family have been in Kamloops by her side. <br />    Brittany is seeing small improvements every day and has since been removed from the ventilator and is breathing on her own since Sept. 5th. Her family and friends are hopeful with this progress and are praying she will be able to make a full and complete recovery. <br /><br />   Her Fiancé Taylor, as well as her family have been by her side in Kamloops since the accident and will continue to support and assist her in her recovery. This go fund me page is to raise funds to assist with accident and recovery related expenses as well as to financially support Taylor and other family who have and will continue to take time off work to help Brittany moving forward with her recovery. <br />   It will be a long road ahead but her family and friends will be with her every step of the way.<br />   Any amount of support is welcomed and incredibly appreciated.
