<div>Dear family, friends and to all of those of you who may or may not know know me..

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My name is Erika Diarte-Carr. I am 30 years old and a single mother of two beautiful children. Jeremiah (7) and Aaliyah (5). ❤️ They are my whole life, light and soul. My children are my fight and what keep me going.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Anybody who knows me, knows that I am a very reserved, quiet and private person. I have always been independent and I am used to doing everything on my own for me and my children. So, please understand that it is hard for me to put my personal business out there today and to finally ask for help..

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>These last 2 years I have been silently battling a rare terminal cancer.. Small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC), a high-grade neuroendocrine carcinoma.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On May 7th, 2022, the day before Mother’s Day, I walked into the emergency room due to what I thought to be just a normal shoulder injury and walked out diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer along with the doctor’s words replaying in my head, “I hope you have a good support system at home because you’re going to need it, you have a long and hard journey ahead of you.” The doctor than proceeded to tell me that there were multiple tumors that had metastasized to other parts of my body including my skeletal, which is how we were able to find the tumor that was causing my shoulder pain. By that point the damage had already been done. In that moment, mine and my kids’ entire lives had changed forever, as well as all of those around us.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Unfortunately, it doesn’t end there.. On January 17th, 2024, I was diagnosed with Cushing Syndrome. Which has caused me so many other underlying issues such as rapid weight gain &amp; swelling (60+ lbs in a matter of weeks), muscle and bone deterioration, high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, Moon Face &amp; so much more! This disease has already taken so much away from me and my family!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Since my diagnosis I have managed to keep working full time, taking only 2 months off in the beginning for surgeries , biopsies, appointments, radiation and chemotherapy treatments. All while still being a full time mama. I do have an AMAZING support system but over time it has put a major financial, emotional, mental and physical toll on us all.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I have been ashamed and embarrassed for people to know the truth, that I have kept this a secret for as long as I could but the physical effects are starting to take control and I can’t hide it any longer. I’ve never been good at accepting or asking for help but unfortunately, I believe I’ve come to a point in my life and health where that is no longer an option for me. I am no longer able to physically work which has put a major financial burden on me.

</div>

<div><span> I understand we all go through hard times so anything helps.. Whether it be your love &amp; support, a donation, sharing my story, or sending love, prayers, positive &amp; healing vibes. All is accepted and very much appreciated.</span><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I also want to acknowledge my amazing medical team for all of their time, care &amp; patience. Carl Gray &amp; Kylie Money @ Ogden Hematology Oncology. Steven Brown @ Tanner Clinic (Endocrinology) &amp; Brandon Fisher (Radiation Oncology). &amp; so many more!!.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Me &amp; my family thank you ALL from the bottom of our hearts!. ❤️❤️‍

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>UPDATE: September 18th, 2024 I had a Dr. Appointment with my oncologist. Unfortunately, I wasn’t given the best news. Due to my prognosis, I have decided to discontinue treatments as they will no longer help. I have been given 3 months to live. 3 months to spend with my babies and loved ones. 3 months to make the best of what time I have left. During these next couple of months I need to make sure my kids will be ok after I am gone. I am faced now with the most difficult thing of planning my own funeral. Due to me not being able to work for months now I do not have any finances saved up or any life insurance set aside for this situation. I have looked into the expenses and I am needing to raise about $5,000 to ensure funeral costs are covered plus I’m wanting to leave something behind for my babies.

</div>

<div>If you could please donate or share anything would be appreciated.

</div>

<div>THANK YOU.

</div>

<div>And a huge thank you to all of you who have already donated!

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>FOR ANYONE’S CONCERN , ALL THE FUNDS THAT HAVE EXCEEDED MY FUNERAL COST GOAL WILL BE NOW PUT INTO A TRUST FUND FOR MY BABIES THAT WAY I CAN LEAVE BEHIND SOMETHING FOR THEM AND I CAN STILL ENSURE THEY ARE GOING TO BE OK AS THEY GROW UP.

Support Erika: A Mother planning her own funeral

<div>Dear family and friends,
</div>
<div>It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of Angel Gonzalez on March 25th, 2024.  Angel was born and raised in Walla Walla, and graduated from WA-HI.  He had an enormous amount of friends, and those who knew him will say he had a big heart with a great big smile. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He had recently enrolled at W.W.C.C to further a career. He was a son, brother, and father of a beautiful girl named Rylee.
</div>
<div>Many of you have asked, how can you help out family during this painful time, know that we appreciate your support and kindness. Everything is appreciated, as we navigate this heartbreaking moment. We made a gofundme page for anyone who would like to contribute to help his family with the funeral expenses. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We kindly ask to keep Angel's family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate through this unimaginable grief.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Respectfully,
</div>

Funeral de Lupita

<div>On Sunday May 28th my mother was tragically killed in a reckless car accident. She was walking back from a horse race event when a truck pulled out of the driveway reckless and lost control hitting 2 people in the process. One of them being by mom, pinning her under the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. I am making this gofundme to help with the funeral cost and send her home with her mom in Mexico.

<div>Dear family and friends, it is with deep sadness from the Alejandre family having to announce that our beloved Edree Thompson was called upon from our lord. We are all left with a heavy and broken heart. Edree was a warm, respectful, and upbeat person. Full of life and laughter, willing to help when needed. His pride &amp; joy was his daughter Lily. He was such a great father to her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Edree is loved his family and also by so many friends. We truly extend our apologies for the sad news.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Family and friends have been reaching out to his mother Alejandra who is very devastated by the loss of her son. She greatly appreciates and thanks everyone for the support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For those that been asking to help contribute towards Edree’s funeral expenses we decided to create a gofund me to make it easy for all. If you prefer to use cash app I included this as well.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We will soon update everyone with the funeral arrangements. We thank you for the amount of support we have been receiving.
</div>
<div>May God give us strength. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Salvador Salcedo is a long-time Detroiter who has been on a ventilator for the past three weeks due to Covid-19. His kidneys are failing and he has been unresponsive.

Salvador Salcedo has been sedated, intubated and is on a ventilator at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn.

He has had a hard time coming down on the sedation and has been through numerous testing (CT, MRI) to figure out why. They are going to scan his brain next to determine if any damage has occurred there.

Recent updates are on his wife Eva’s FB page here .

The family asks for your prayers, and it’s the Salcedo’s community of friends in Detroit who are asking for your donations to help them during this time of need. Salvador and Eva are too proud to ask themselves, but we asked their permission to ask for them.

Salvador was the breadwinner of the family, and they were struggling to find a new home to live in within their means, before this virus infected Salvador. We’re hoping the amount raised will help pay down bills and also, give them the ability to be able to move into another place.

We understand these are difficult times for everyone, and that no one has been left untouched by this pandemic. But if you have anything to spare, we hope you’ll consider the Salcedo family during this time of need, and donate.

In love and struggle,

Friends of the Salcedos

From Heather Mary Quaine:

"Salvador....when I think of Salvador I smile. I am smiling right now. I can’t help but smile. He has the kindest face and eyes. To hear him speak English with his thick Spanish accent as he uses his hands and eyes to tell a story draws you in. His humor is dry and sarcastic, but always loving. Patrick introduced me to him many, many years ago when we went for dinner at Los Galanes Restaurante Mexicano. He greets us both with hugs, but is especially warm with Patrick. You can feel how much he loves Patrick, who he calls Papi. The smiles on their faces when they see each other is beautiful. No matter how busy Salvador is at the restaurant he stops sometime twice and will put his hands on Patrick's shoulder. He sincerely wants to know how we are and what we are up to. When I asked about him, he pivots to talk about what his kids are up to or his wife Eva. They bring him joy and make him laugh out loud. It's a sight to see! Even when he is extremely tired, he is upbeat. It seems no matter when Patrick and I go there, he is working. I asked him, do you ever sleep? He answered with a grim smile and said "What's that?" We eat a lot of Mexican food from there, like a lot. Sometimes twice a week! Patrick walks to the restaurant and gets the specials, chicken tacos on Wednesday and chicken burritos on Thursdays, but I swear, I think he really goes not so much for the food but to see Salvador. And when Patrick comes home I sometimes find an extra rice or fried ice cream for me with a loving note on the box. Salvador prayed each and every night for me the times I went through cancer. It's hard to write this...the tears are burning my eyes."

The Salcedo Family

Baby Emily and her family are in need for all the help they can get. She was put on life support 2 nights ago and her momma needs all the help she can get. She is need of help of any sort. She is now off of work and is currently staying at the hospital with her baby girl Emily. With it being so close to the holidays, Kayla Rziemkowski could use all the help she can get during these hard times. Emily is currently suffering from head trama and her head is filled with blood and has been at Detroit Childrens Hospital fighting for her life.<img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/35197000_1544294883717971_r.jpeg" alt="35197000_1544294883717971_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/35197000_1544294900386385_r.jpeg" alt="35197000_1544294900386385_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" />She is currently on life support and her family needs all the help they can get. Kayla is a single mother at this time and the last thing she needs is to worry about losing her home or her past due bills due to these hard times. Any and all help is needed. Even if all you can give is a prayer for this baby girl, any and all help is apperciated! Kayla is currently unable to finish paying her rent or even provide her other 2 girls a Christmas this year due to these hard times. I pray that everyone is able to give during this hard time even if it's just a prayer for baby Emily.<br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/35197000_1544294968926974_r.jpeg" alt="35197000_1544294968926974_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/35197000_1544295595557537_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="35197000_1544295595557537_r.jpeg" /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/35197000_1544295636983287_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="35197000_1544295636983287_r.jpeg" />

Help make kenzos Christmas wish come true! <br />This fundraiser was created to surprise Kenzo and my sister to go see Tata (daddy) in Mexico. <br />Anyone who knows my sister Michelle knows she had a heart of gold. Working two jobs to make ends meet is not easy and has disabled her to be able to be together as a  family. She’s never asked for anything but I know she is suffering. Please consider giving a kind donation to help them reunite for this Holiday Season. Anything helps God Bless.<br /><br /><br /><img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/34620280_1542471975633549_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" alt="34620280_1542471975633549_r.jpeg" />

Kenzos Christmas wish

To all of you that have heard and to those who have not yet , Tuesday night we lost our dear brother, son,  friend and family member Simei Lopez to a tragic motorcycle accident. He was 22 years young when he passed away and he will be missed everyday by those who loved him. <br />We are reaching out to ask for help for his family in this horrible and sad time. <br />All funds collected from this site will go towards funeral arrangements and medical expenses.

In memory of Simei Lopez

Denise Fraire lost her battle against terminal cancer on May 6th. She fought so hard to stay alive for her 3 girls: Neriah (14) Arianah (9) and Gianah (4) and beloved husband, Ben. Denise was such a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, niece and friend. She had such a beautiful soul and always helped those in need. Denise always gave her undivided attention and lent an ear for those who were in desperate need of it. She brought laughter and life with her presence whenever she walked into a room. Our beautiful Denise, is now walking hand in hand with her angel baby, Shailah whom passed away at the tender age of 2 1/2. The funds collected will be utilized to cover Denise's funeral and medical expenses. Please help with whatever you can. Her family would greatly appreciate it. God bless!

Denise Fraire Funeral and Medical

Anyone that knows us know how difficult this is for us as we try not to ask anyone for anything...  AJ and I have always done pretty much everything on our own and are private about a lot that goes on in our life. But, as much as we hate to even make this page, sometimes we have to put our pride to the side - especially when it comes to our children.<br /><br />Our sweet little Niko is in dire need of a cranial helmet.  <br /><br />Let me start off by saying how strong my sweet baby boy is. I've truly never met a such an angelic, beautiful soul. His smile and genuine personality will brighten up anyone's day!  As some of our close friends and family know, Nikolai was born with some medical complications following birth. I had a 2 vessel umbilical cord (supposed to have 3) during pregnancy and was considered high risk and was monitored the entire time and everything seemed to be fine. Unfortunately, shortly after he was born, I noticed he was having some development delays and missing his milestones. Not too long after, we found out his head growth was starting to slow down and his brain isn't developing as it "should be". He has slightly low muscle tone, which in turn caused him to have a severe case of brachiocephaly and plagiocephaly, also known as flat head syndrome. Studies have linked untreated plagiocephaly to mental and physical problems in the future, and since he's already having some problems, it's imperative we try to correct this problem as soon as possible.  <br /> <br /> Unfortunately, insurance companies no longer cover the cost of cranial helmets as they rule it out a cosmetic issue, leaving all costs to AJ and myself. I've been fighting with them for months but I've had no success. It's extremely urgent to get his helmet as soon as possible. There is only so much time we have before the skull hardens and he's just barely in the time frame where it will still greatly benefit him. We need to try to raise $2500 which covers the doc band, resizing, follow up appointments, etc.<br /><br /> I understand it's tough for most of us right now, especially with the holidays right around the corner - but every little bit helps and I couldn't think of a greater gift for our baby boy! Niko has come SO far in his short 17 months of life. Despite his delays, he is full of life and the most determined and driven little boy I have ever met! He's a special angel sent here for us all and he makes me so proud to be his mom. He's such a fighter and always reaches the goals he sets for himself. Please help us reach our goal so we can get my baby boy's head to a normal shape, and also prevent any (more) physical/mental/emotional problems in the future. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. I also ask that you simply keep us in your prayers as we continue on this journey of ours. Thank you and God bless.
