<div>
 Hi everyone! My name is Claire and I am a trans woman currently living and working in New England.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I currently have top surgery scheduled for the end of the year, and while I do have decent health insurance, I will still be out of work for roughly a month, if not longer, depending on what my surgeon says/recommends. While I have tried to put some money away for the recovery period, I'm nowhere near where I need to be to cover a month or more of missed pay.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I'm starting this GoFundMe as a way to help cover monthly payments, such as rent and utilities, so I can focus on recovering and not push myself into going back to work before I'm ready. I know this is a difficult time for many right now, so any support is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

<div>
 Hi! My name is Brandon, and I'm in a bad spot.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I'm a gay man living in rural Southern Arkansas and outside of the family member that I live with, my cousin, I'm essentially on my own.
</div>
<div>
 For the last 6 years I've been working in the low-income housing industry as a property manager, which is a job that has steadily whittled down my mental health to the point where in July I had to be told by my doctor that I need to take a week off because my anxiety was starting to negatively impact my physical health. Along with that, Arkansas is a state with poor job opportunities, poor quality of life, and for a gay man like myself, a very serious concern for safety. It's always been pretty bad for queer people where I live, as expected of the rural South, but within the last two years it's gotten worse. Including seeing openly hostile homophobic signs being displayed around the county courthouse.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 My current housing is attached to the job, and is the only actual benefit that I have for what is otherwise a part-time job with no healthcare.
</div>
<div>
 Because if that, myself and my cousin are working to move out of state to find a better life where both of us can find better work and I can live somewhere that I don't have to worry about personal safety for wanting to be openly gay. We've settled on Minnesota as a destination, but the cost of moving and settling in is looking like it's going to completely wipe our combined funds and my bank has denied me for any loans due to the fact that I haven't done anything on credit before.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 So, we simply need help moving. We need help with getting out of a situation where we can only exist, not actually grow and have a better life. My job does not even pay enough to let me save up so that I can quit and take time to find a better life and better job, and since my housing is attached to the job, once I quit we'll have two weeks to be moved out.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 All of the funds from this will go towards moving costs; moving truck rental, the trek from one side of the country to another, move-in costs for a new apartment, all of that. It would allow us to do all of this without getting there and having little to no money to survive on. Our current moving goal is to be on the road by October 5th or 6th, which is pretty soon, but the longer we wait the worse it gets for us.
</div>

Help someone move to a better life and escape a crushing job

<div>Hi! My name is Charlotte. <strong>I'm a trans woman and a paramedic based out of New England.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently, I have had to take a leave of absence for my health, following an acute stress incident at work. I have entered an intensive outpatient program at a local behavioral health facility. I didn't really want to. I can't really afford it. I simply just couldn't afford putting off taking care of this injury any longer. EMS is a highly stressful field that demands so much of you, physically and mentally. The same is true of being trans. I came into both of these aspects of my identity with enough damage as it is. I needed to stop and finally accept that I needed help, and it's been one of the hardest things I've ever done. I am not yet sure when I will be cleared to return to work, but at this time, it looks like potentially two months.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am already struggling financially following an extended leave of absence for a major surgery in early 2025. It is also seriously derailing my financial planning for leaving my current area of residence, because it's just become progressively more unsafe since the last presidential election. Unfortunately, EMS providers are also grossly underpaid for their education, relative to their other healthcare peers, and for the nature of the work that we do. The only reason I am able to scrape by is based on my baked-in overtime in my 48-hour working week; but short-term disability only reimburses 60% of your wages and <strong>specifically</strong> only pays you at your base wages. Not to mention it only kicks in after 15 days!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is at the recommendation of my peers and loved ones that <strong>I am putting up this GoFundMe.</strong> I know that everyone is struggling right now, so any support you can <strong>reasonably</strong> share within your means is greatly appreciated.

Support Charlotte's Recovery

<div>Hi! I am a Minneapolis trans woman who has come upon some hard times. I am having to vacate my apartment and I owe my landlord about $3,000. I also had a cat be in and out of the vet’s office the last few days and am owing them about $4,000. Also I have ran into some car issues. On top of this, I am unemployed. While I am actively searching for employment every day, these bills are stacking up and deadlines are approaching. Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated &lt;3
