We are brothers, Khader Hassanein and Ismail Hassanein, from Gaza. We write to you today from the heart of suffering, after the war destroyed everything we had and stripped our children of their basic right to safety and dignity. We once lived a simple life, working hard and hoping to build a better future for our families… until the day everything turned to ashes. Both of our homes were completely destroyed, and we were forced to flee and now live in a tent that provides no protection from the heat, cold, or danger. It is not a home—just a place to survive. Ismail is married and a father of two, and Khader is married and a father of three. Our children are deeply traumatized; some suffer from severe anxiety and bedwetting caused by constant fear, while others wake up crying from nightmares. We cannot afford enough food, clothing, or medical and psychological care due to extreme poverty and the total loss of work. We ourselves have not escaped the impact of the war. We both developed hearing problems from continuous explosions and are struggling with overwhelming psychological stress. Each day we try to stay strong, but the situation has become beyond our ability to endure. We now have no home, no source of income, and no means to provide safety or treatment for our children. This is why we turn to you, with hope in your kindness and compassion. Any support—even the smallest amount—can bring life back to our children and give them a chance to live with dignity, away from fear and hunger. Thank you to everyone who extends a helping hand… and to everyone who becomes a reason for saving an entire family. نحن الأخوين خضر حسنين وإسماعيل حسنين، من مدينة غزة. نكتب إليكم اليوم من قلب المعاناة، بعدما دمّرت الحرب كل ما نملك وحرمت أطفالنا من أبسط حقوقهم في الأمان والحياة الكريمة. كنّا نعيش حياة بسيطة، نعمل بكرامة ونسعى لتأمين مستقبل أطفالنا… إلى أن جاء يوم أصبح فيه كل شيء رمادًا. منزلانا تعرّضا للقصف بشكل كامل، واضطررنا للنزوح القسري لنعيش اليوم في خيمة لا تقي حرًّا ولا بردًا، ولا توفر أي حدٍّ أدنى من الحياة. إسماعيل متزوج وأب لطفلين، وخضر متزوج وأب لثلاثة أطفال. أطفالنا يعانون من صدمات نفسية شديدة؛ بعضهم أصيب بالتبول اللاإرادي نتيجة الخوف المستمر، والآخرون لا ينامون دون فزع. لا تتوفر لدينا ملابس كافية، ولا طعام، ولا حتى القدرة على توفير علاج نفسي أو طبي لهم بسبب الفقر وانعدام العمل. نحن أيضًا لم نسلم من آثار الحرب؛ فقد أصبنا بمشاكل في السمع جراء الانفجارات المستمرة، وأصبنا بضغوط نفسية خارجة عن قدرتنا على الاحتمال. كل يوم نحاول أن نصمد… لكننا أصبحنا عاجزين. لم يعد لدينا مأوى، ولا مصدر دخل، ولا أي وسيلة لحماية أطفالنا أو علاجهم. لهذا نلجأ إليكم وإلى قلوبكم الرحيمة. كل مساعدة حتى لو كانت بسيطة قد تُعيد شيئًا من الحياة إلى أطفالنا، وقد تمنحهم فرصة للعيش بكرامة بعيدًا عن الألم والخوف. نرجو منكم دعم حملتنا ومشاركة رسالتنا لتصل إلى أكبر عدد ممكن. قد تكون يدكم هي الأمل الوحيد المتبقي لنا بعد الله. شكرًا لكل من يمد يد العون… وشكرًا لكل من يكون سببًا في إنقاذ أسرة بأكملها.
