My family is currently experiencing a housing crisis, and I am creating this fundraiser to help us get back on our feet. My household includes myself, my 16-year-old daughter, and my disabled husband. Due to unexpected hardship, we recently lost our housing and are doing everything we can to find stable shelter and rebuild. We experienced an unexpected housing loss after falling behind financially during a difficult period while trying to balance household expenses and caring for my disabled husband. With rising housing costs, finding something affordable quickly has been incredibly challenging, and we have been doing everything we can to stay afloat while searching for stable housing. This fundraiser is our attempt to bridge that gap and give our family a chance to start over safely. The funds will help us cover first month’s rent, a security deposit, storage and moving expenses, transportation, and basic essentials while we work toward stability. As a mother, my biggest priority is making sure my daughter has a safe place to call home. Any support, no matter the amount, would mean more than words can express.
