On June 11th, 2026, my mom passed away from dementia, leaving me, my dad, and my brother facing a difficult financial situation. My dad is a Vietnam veteran and is now retired, and with my mom's retirement income gone, we're struggling to cover basic expenses. Losing her has been incredibly hard emotionally, and the financial impact has made things even tougher for our family. We are doing our best to keep up with bills, including my mom's medical expenses, electricity, and groceries, but it's been overwhelming. My dad has always been a strong provider, but now that he is retired and our household income has dropped, we are finding it hard to make ends meet. My brother and I are trying to support our dad as much as we can, but the costs keep piling up.
