My girlfriend, our two dogs, and I have been struggling to find a safe and stable place to call home. For the past six months, we've been living at the back of the city park, doing our best to get by on a very limited income. I work in landscaping, and my girlfriend receives disability, but most months it's a challenge just to cover the basics.
Recently, we were given a chance to buy a trailer, which could finally give us the home we've been dreaming of. The catch is that the trailer needs a lot of work before we can move in. We need help buying essentials like a stove, floors, sinks, and everything else required to make it livable.
Having a real home would mean everything to us and our dogs. It would give us the stability and comfort we've been missing for so long. This would really mean a lot to both of us and our dogs. I've been homeless for about six months and I hate it. Please, any help is deeply appreciated—thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
