My name is Anam, and today I am asking for something no child ever wants to ask for — help to save my father’s life. My dad is fighting a severe, aggressive cancer in Pakistan. Every day he struggles to breathe, to speak, to stay alive. The doctors have given us a treatment plan, but the cost is more than £70,000, and without this money, he will not receive the care he needs. In Pakistan, cancer treatment is brutally expensive, and everything must be paid upfront — even emergency care. But my father’s story is not just about illness. It is about a lifetime of sacrifice, pain, and strength. My dad worked hard, back‑breaking jobs his entire life so that we could survive. He never had an easy day. He never complained. He carried the weight of the world on his shoulders so his children could have education, dignity, and a future he never had. And life was never fair to him. Our own family — the people who should have protected us — took our land, our only source of security. They pushed us out of our own home. We lost everything. My father stood there with nothing left, holding his children’s hands, trying to stay strong while his heart was breaking. But he didn’t give up. He worked day and night, doing whatever job he could find, just to keep us fed and in school. He sacrificed his health, his comfort, his dreams — all so we could have a chance at a better life. He never asked for anything in return. And now, when he needs help the most, life has struck him with the cruelest test. Seeing him lying in a hospital bed, fighting for every breath, is a pain I cannot describe. No child should have to watch their father suffer like this. No parent should be denied treatment because of money. I am doing everything I can here in the UK — working every day, taking every job I can find — but it is not enough. I cannot lose him. Not like this. Not after everything he has survived. I am asking from the deepest part of my heart: Please help us save his life. Whether it is a donation or even just sharing this page, every pound brings us closer to giving him a chance to live. Your kindness means more to my family than words can ever express. Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. Thank you for standing with us in the hardest moment of our lives.
