<div>Susan Euler was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer and given a terminal diagnosis. Like any cancer diagnosis, this came as a complete surprise to Susan and her family, leaving them in shock and financially unprepared.

<div>Susan is a recently retired middle school drama teacher and director with a love of Disney, theatre, animals, and the color purple. Susan’s bright and bubbly personality has dimmed over the past couple of months and she hasn’t quite been herself, but there was no sign of what was wrong. Finally fed up with not having answers, on Monday 8/19/24 Susan and her daughter Kelsey went to the ER. While there, a CAT scan was performed which revealed two masses in Susan’s brain and she was transferred to the ICU for further testing. Further scans showed that Susan has a tumor on her frontal lobe (the culprit of the recent personality shift) and a second tumor that is located so deep in her brain that it is inoperable. On Wednesday 8/21/24, a biopsy was performed which confirmed what the doctors were 99% sure of – it is, indeed, cancer and it is aggressive. In about a week, she will be able to start chemo and radiation to help keep her comfortable.

<div>Susan raised a daughter, Kelsey, as a single mother and the two are truly best friends – the real-life Gilmore Girls. She also has a very close relationship with her tight-knit family that includes her mom, two sisters and two brothers-in-law, and a niece and nephew. In addition, Susan holds a special place in the heart of several close friends and others who have been lucky enough to have had their lives touched by her presence. Susan’s friendly personality and big heart make her the person she is – someone who will bend over backward at the drop of a hat to help out anyone in her life that needs it. Susan dedicated her life to being a middle school drama teacher at Tequesta Trace Middle School with Troupe #88241. She was beloved by her students and was beyond dedicated to them. Even after her students left her classroom, she kept track of and maintained relationships with many of them as they continued through school and on into life.
