Creating Coherence for Ukraine

We have in our hands a unique and proven technology to create peace, as the video above (2.8M views on Facebook) explains. Now is the time to use this technology to help reduce the dangerous tensions between Russia and Ukraine.  To help accomplish this effect, we are assembling groups of 100 Russian and 100 Ukrainian practitioners of the powerful, peace-promoting Transcendental Meditation® and TM-Sidhi® programs in their respective countries. Large group practice of these programs by the square root of 1% of a population can defuse acute societal stress—including political tensions that could otherwise erupt in social conflict and war—as multiple studies have shown. Your gift (tax-deductible in the U.S.) will assist Russian and Ukrainian volunteers, who will take time away from their families and jobs to play this vital role for their countries—and the world:       ·      $25 will sponsor 1 volunteer for 1 day      ·      $175 will sponsor 1 volunteer for 1 week      ·      $750 will sponsor 1 volunteer for 1 month      ·      $1,500 will sponsor 1 volunteer for 2 months Extensive, well-controlled research on this Brain-Based Approach to Peace demonstrates that the square root of 1% of a population experiencing and enlivening Transcendental Consciousness through the TM and advanced TM-Sidhi programs generates coherence and harmony in collective consciousness. Multiple studies have shown that this effect helps to resolve conflict and improve the quality of life in the population as a whole.  The square root of 1% of Russia’s population of 144 million is 1,200; for Ukraine’s population of 44 million, it is 700. Our long-term goal is to fully implement these larger groups. The first crucial step is to immediately establish two core groups of 100 volunteers each. Given compelling evidence from 40 published studies, we believe these two groups will help defuse tensions in the region. Let's reduce tensions between Russia and Ukraine

I’m creating this campaign on behalf of a family friend whose 29 year old son, Christopher, was just diagnosed with stage 2 cancer.  She’s a wonderful caring woman; who alone has gone through a lot after getting a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and right now this family needs our help.
At the beginning of December Chris went to the hospital due to feeling ill and they discovered a mass. After initial ultrasounds and bloodwork the doctors decided to take the tumor out saying it was probable cancer. During surgery they removed a baseball sized tumor and after post-op was diagnosed with Stage 2  cancer that has metastasized to the retroperitoneal lymph nodes.
Christopher now needs chemotherapy to try and stop the spread of the cancer to other organs. Chris's employer is working with him the best they can and will let him take time off to do treatments but with no pay. He used his last vacation time for the operation and post-op recovery period. This is an acute medical emergency that has to be treated as soon as possible so things don’t escalate. The hospital is trying to work with them on medical, surgical and treatment costs but seeing how he’ll be missing a lot of work without pay this has quickly become financially overwhelming for their family. 
I’m asking for help to ease the stress and allow them to focus on fighting this cancer and getting Chris into remission. All donation amounts are greatly appreciated and are being raised for Chris's medical bills, living costs during treatment to supplement the loss of pay from work and for lodging/ travel expenses so that my friend can be with her son. Help Chris Defeat Cancer

James Landry is a very active 2 1/2 year old boy. He loves to play outside ,work with his dad, James Landry ,on fixing cars, and just being in the yard. If he sees water, it is a true magnet for him, he loves his matchbox cars , trucks and Nascar vehicles. He is a true boy at heart. He had a very hard start that had him having an open heart surgery at just a few weeks old. Looking at him today, you would never know this. He came thru as a true champion. Unfortunately, once again, little James is facing another challenge in his life. On June 13.2018, his mother and father both noticed a change is his behavior over the previous 36 hours. He was taken to U Mass Memorial thru his pediatrician, lab results showed : Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He has already started in his long journey ahead facing 3-4 years of blood transfusions, Surgeries, and many hospitalizations. It is so important for both of his parents to be there to support, comfort and be present for their special little boy.   With this urgent responsibility, they are both greatly compromised in  their ability to continue their normal working lives, and thus their ability to pay their every day expenses.  In short, those everyday expenses that most of us take for granted, are now over whelming for them.  Imagine not being able to gas in the car to get to the hospital,  pay the parking fee, Or paying rent so that you have a home to bring your child to when he does get out of the hospital. Any and all help you are able to provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Sweet Baby James Landry

This week, our community lost a loving mother, a dear daughter and a sincere friend. Kerri Richards grew up in Mettatuxet and worked in town. So many remember her from the good old days of the Picnic Basket! The loss of Kerri alone is heartbreaking and devastating. She leaves behind four beautiful, amazing and thriving children. These children are hurting very badly right now. As a commmunity, we need to come together and support these children. Kerri's parents are caring for the children and are also grieving the loss of their daughter. Any little bit of help we can give would benefit the whole family, whether it's for clothes for the children, take out meals when they just aren't up for cooking, or maybe just a nice family outing. Whatever we can do to help this family as they grieve, will hopefully make a difference. Narragansett is an amazing community and we know we can give all the support needed!! Thank you!
