We need your help! Yesterday, a home that has been a staple in the Decatur community, 2nd Ave area, was ravaged! The frigid temperatures and strong winds caused a tree to collapse on the home, where the occupant, a nearly 70-year-old male, barely escaped with his life! The home has stood for decades, providing a safe sanctuary for those who grew up there. We’ve created this GoFundMe to have the tree removed, a tarp placed, and repairs made! The urgency is the rain and unwanted animals. The home is not insured due to some legality issues. No amount is too small. We must act fast, as we move further into the winter months, we’re expecting temperatures to drop! We can’t have our seniors in this predicament!
