<div>Right now, too many of these children are sitting at home watching their confidence slowly fade, while their families feel exhausted, helpless, and desperate for support.

<div>Hello, I’m Roslyn
</div>
<div>I am the founder of Time2Shine SEN Tutoring, and I am raising funds to support vulnerable children who are unable to attend school due to anxiety, autism, ADHD, trauma, and unmet special educational needs.
</div>
<div>My goal is to create a safe, nurturing SEN-friendly learning space — somewhere children can finally feel understood, accepted, and supported, and where families feel welcomed rather than judged.

<div>Why This Is So Personal to Me
</div>
<div>This work is deeply personal.
</div>
<div>I am a mother of seven children, and at different stages of their lives, every one of them has needed additional support.
</div>
<div>My children have experienced a wide range of needs, including:
</div>
<div>Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
</div>
<div>ADHD
</div>
<div>Cerebral palsy
</div>
<div>Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
</div>
<div>Anxiety and behavioural needs
</div>
<div>I am also a grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren — all of whom are on the autism spectrum.
</div>
<div>This world of additional needs is not something I learned from textbooks.
</div>
<div>It is something I have lived every single day for decades.
</div>
<div>More recently, I was formally diagnosed with ADHD myself — something I had always known deep down. That diagnosis gave me even greater insight into how exhausting, overwhelming, and misunderstood life can feel when your brain works differently.

<div>I understand this journey not only as a professional — but as a parent, a grandparent, and as someone living it herself.
</div>
<div>That is why I put my heart and soul into supporting other families.
</div>
<div>Because I know how lonely, frightening, and relentless this path can be.
</div>
<div>Why This Work Is Needed More Than Ever
</div>
<div>I work with children who desperately want to learn — but simply cannot cope with traditional school environments.
</div>
<div>Some experience crippling anxiety.
</div>
<div>Some are autistic or have ADHD and feel constantly misunderstood.
</div>
<div>Some have experienced trauma or years of unmet needs.
</div>
<div>Many are now completely avoiding school.
</div>
<div>For these children, school is not just difficult — it feels terrifying.
</div>
<div>Parents are left watching their child shut down, lose confidence, and fall further behind, while waiting lists grow longer and support feels increasingly out of reach.
</div>
<div>These families don’t need judgement.
</div>
<div>They need understanding, compassion, and practical support.
</div>
<div>The Current Challenge
</div>
<div>At the moment, I travel to each child’s home to provide one-to-one support.
</div>
<div>While this allows me to help some families, it severely limits how many children I can reach.
</div>
<div>Every week, more families contact me asking for help — and it breaks my heart knowing I cannot reach them all.
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is about changing that.

<div>A space like this would allow me to help more children, reach families sooner, and offer real hope to those currently falling through the cracks.
