Hello!! I’m part of a group of citizens in the city of Grenada, Mississippi trying to make our city better for all our citizens. We love our city and want to see our children and grandchildren live in a city they are proud to call HOME! We are incurring expenses with FOIA REQUESTS as we are not allowed to just view documents. We are made to pay for the copies even though we ask that they be emailed to us. We use our personal vehicles to travel to meetings and throughout the city checking on things throughout the city. We have been reminded by our City Council that they are NOT obligated to answer any questions concerning our city. ✅Our municipal audits are five years past due. ✅Our city’s finances are being co-mingled with bond and grant money. ✅Our water infrastructure is crumbling. ✅Our city streets are in terrible shape. ✅Our tax money is being spent haphazardly on pet projects and non essentials. ✅Our streets are littered with the January 2026 debris ✅Our city’s crime rate is rising. ✅Our city’s police department is understaffed, and underfunded. ✅Our city’s police are underpaid. ✅Our city water and street department workers do not have the tools needed to do their jobs. ✅Our citizens in Gore Springs and other outskirts are without water 2-3 days a week. ✅Our city is under a Consent Agreement with the EPA due to wastewater overflowing into our rivers and collapsed wastewater lines. ✅I could go on and on!! ✳️✳️✳️We are asking for funds to help reimburse our members, as we work to make our city better for ALL our citizens!✳️✳️

Ariel was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal hormone-positive HER2 low carcinoma in October of 2024 at the age of 32. We thank our Lord that her scans are clear after surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation. Since her diagnosis, it seems she has been faced with heartbreaking obstacles. Her little dog, Pippa died in early spring. Pippa was Ariel’s baby for more than 11 years and a huge emotional support for Ariel. The last part of August, her vehicle caught on fire while she was driving. It is a TOTAL LOSS. Thank our Lord for protecting her and allowing her to get out unharmed. Any woman that has fought breast cancer will tell you the nasty disease takes so much from you. As part of her treatments, she takes Letrozole injections every other month, Anastrozole daily, and 21 days on, 7 days off cycles of Kisqali. The medications, frequent scans, and numerous doctor’s visits have her stretching her finances, already. Her jeep was paid for, and she was hoping to drive it for many years to come. She has insurance, but with high mileage we know she is facing an expensive car payment to replace her jeep. We would be so thankful, if some of that burden could be lessened with your giving.
