Hi everyone, I never imagined I would be in a position where I need to ask for help like this, but here I am. I was recently diagnosed with blood cancer, and everything has changed very quickly. Right now, I’m facing ongoing medical appointments, testing like PET scans, and doctor visits just to understand the full extent of my condition and what treatment will look like. On top of that, I’m also dealing with severe trigger finger in four of my fingers, which means I cannot bend my fingers. I’ve already tried cortisone shots, but unfortunately, they didn’t work. Surgery is now the only option to relieve the pain and restore proper use of my hand. Everyday tasks have become difficult, especially as someone who relies on my hands for work. I do have insurance, but my deductible is high, and the out-of-pocket costs add up quickly. I’ve already experienced how expensive even a single procedure can be—my previous thumb surgery alone cost me over five thousand dollars out of pocket. With multiple surgeries ahead, ongoing cancer-related testing, and specialist visits, the financial burden is overwhelming. In the middle of all this, I’m holding on to the Lord and trusting Him as my provider: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1. I truly believe He will make a way, and I’m taking this step in faith by reaching out for help. I’m asking for support to help cover medical deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses, PET scans and diagnostic testing, doctor and specialist visits, and upcoming hand surgeries. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to me and help relieve some of the burdens during this difficult time. If you’re not able to give, I completely understand—sharing this with others and your prayers would also be a huge blessing. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your support, and for keeping me in your prayers. With gratitude, Novita Adam
