<div>From Ghana to Rwanda to South Africa, we’ve brought the diaspora together to reconnect with the motherland and leave a legacy that goes far beyond the ride — raising over £36,000 for local charities since 2023, and we’re just getting started.

<div>This year, we are raising money for Banouna Ba Foundation for girls' education. Women in Senegal have an average literacy rate of 39.8% against 64.81% of men, and that gap starts early. The Banouna Ba Foundation is working to change that by helping more girls in Senegal access education — giving them the chance to read, learn and grow with confidence.

BUBR Africa 2026 - Senegal

<div>Once again, we're pedalling with purpose! This time we are embarking on an exciting charity bike ride to raise crucial funds for two South African grassroots NGOs Bonga.org Cycling Academy and Khaltsha Cycles. They are two fantastic organisations that are changing lives in some of the most underserved communities across South Africa. But we can’t do it alone - we need your help.

<div>Bonga.org Cycling Academy is a dynamic initiative that provides underprivileged youth in South Africa with the opportunity to learn and excel in cycling. Through training, mentorship, and access to proper equipment, the academy fosters discipline, teamwork, and confidence. The academy not only promotes physical fitness but also instils essential life skills, offering a platform for youth to succeed both on and off the bike.

<div>Khaltsha Cycles is a community-driven initiative that provides bicycles and cycling-related opportunities to underserved youth in South Africa. They focus on creating a safe and inclusive space for young people to learn cycling, repair bikes, and engage in meaningful community projects, helping them unlock new opportunities for personal growth and success.

<div>Our goal is to raise £10,000 by completing a 500km+ bike ride. Every pedal stroke, every kilometre we conquer, brings us closer to raising vital funds that will help these two NGOs continue their incredible work. BUBR Africa 2025 - South Africa

<div>On the 4th May 2024 we set off on a 400km+ cycling mission across Rwanda, which also includes climbing 23,500ft+ of elevation...that is 20% higher than Mount Kilimanjaro!?!?!!!

<div>24 brave souls will be riding in the country better known as the 'Land of a Thousand Hills' all for the good cause known as Twin Lakes Cycling Academy (TLCA).
</div>

<div>TLCA is an NGO that was set up by Florent Nsengumuremyi in 2019 with the aim of providing former street children in Rwanda with access to education, hope and a better future through cycling.
</div>

</div>
<div>TLCA is rooted in Florent's lived experience as he lost his entire family in the Rwandan Genocide 30 years ago, which left him on the streets at the tender age of seven.
</div>

</div>
<div>TLCA takes a holistic approach to support, they teach children to cycle alongside ensuring they receive a comprehensive education. Combined it helps break the cycle of poverty and homelessness.

After paying for heating and groceries, there is simply nothing left over for Christmas treats. No parent should have to choose between keeping the radiators on or buying a gift for their child.

<div>Our goal is to raise £3000 to buy and distribute brand-new Christmas gifts, toys, and winter essentials for families who are facing severe financial hardship.

We will be stopping donations on 15 December 2026 to allow enough time to shop, wrap, and deliver everything before Christmas week.
