 My mom, Dana Hein (formerly Dana Sidler, Dana Roberson), was diagnosed with vulvar cancer in June 2026. After receiving a PET scan, we learned that <strong>her cancer is localized to the pelvis and has only spread to one lymph node</strong>. The doctor seems confident this can be taken care of with surgery. She does not currently have insurance due to losing her full-time job last year, and she <strong>cannot afford to purchase it on her own</strong>. She has been denied twice for any assistance from Medicaid or financial assistance from the hospitals. The hospital gave her a quote of $11,400 for the surgery, and she needs to have 75% of that ($8,500) to schedule the surgery. She deals with excruciating pain on a daily basis due to the tumor, so we are hopeful to get this scheduled for her as soon as possible.

 I am setting a goal of $15,000 to cover the cost of the surgery. Any amount after $11,400 would be used to help my mom get to a place where she can afford a monthly payment for insurance.

<div>Around 2:15 am on April 12th the house of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law caught fire. They were able to rescue 5 of their children but tragically their 9 year old child named Arturo Isai or “Tutu” by his closest friends went to be with the Lord.

<div>Only one day earlier after watching the movie “Heaven Is Real” Arturito told his mom… “mommy I want to see Jesus”.
</div>

<div>Arturito had a great testimony of loving the Lord. He always sang loudly in church even though he could not keep a tune or know the words.

<div>When his best friend was scared to join the choir Arturito encouraged him by saying that if he did not know the words to just hold the music folder above his lips so no one would know and only learn the chorus.
</div>

<div>Arturito loved to play jokes on people. When he’d go to different camps or conferences he’d always change his name. At one camp he told them his name was “Florencio”. Days later the director of the camp was talking to Arturito’s dad… and said “give this to your son Florencio”…

<div>Arturito loved telling others about Jesus. Arturito never met a stranger. He was immediately friends with anyone he met.
</div>

<div>Arturito will be missed but he got his wish to see Jesus.
</div>

<div>Pastor Ivan and Eunice have been serving at Iglesia Bautista Fundamental Fe since 2010.
</div>

<div>They have always lived their lives sacrificially putting others needs ahead of theirs.
</div>

<div>They’ve started a church that reaches hundreds of children each week through their bus ministries.
</div>

<div>When they were visiting the women’s jail and found 3 children living in the jail with their mother they took them into their own home. For a time they had a children’s home with over 30 kids.

<div>They are a giving family. During their annual pastors conference they host all the visiting pastors in hotels with air conditioning, a basket with treats and pay for all their meals. Their desire is to reach as many for Christ as possible and encourage others in the work of the Lord.

I had to stop working doing Music Therapy for Hospice and my private practice conducting MT for groups at various facilities in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. I am not earning any money for the next 6 weeks and there may be more treatment scheduled for another month or so. Medical Procedure: Not Working

We are saddened by the profound loss of our dear friend Tracy Selznick. She was a wonderful mother, wife, and friend who will be missed by so many whose lives she touched. Several of you have asked what you could do for Taylor and Dave, especially during this time when we can't even physically comfort one another. Dave, like so many people, was recently laid off from his job and is now faced with a financial need in the midst of his emotional pain and loss. What a tremendous opportunity to show this dear family  the love of Christ! Galatians 6:2 "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
