rgent surgery is needed. I apologize for any inconvenience. I have osteomyelitis, a serious bone infection, and it is affecting my spine, causing vertebral damage and deformation. My condition is worsening and requires immediate medical treatment. I would be very grateful for any help or understanding. Thank you sincerely for your support.
I have been hospitalized for five months with a serious bone infection caused by Staphylococcus bacteria (osteomyelitis). Despite ongoing treatment, the infection has severely damaged the soft tissues and discs between the vertebrae in my lower spine. According to my doctors, surgery is now necessary. The infection has caused significant damage to my spine, and two damaged vertebrae will need to be replaced and stabilized with specialized metal implants. This is a complex and high-risk procedure because the affected area is located very close to the spinal cord and important nerve structures. The surgery itself is only the first step. Equally important is the post-operative treatment, rehabilitation, and continued infection control to ensure proper healing and recovery. My condition requires long-term medical care, close monitoring, and significant financial resources. Any support, donation, or sharing of my story would mean a great deal to me and help me continue this fight toward recovery. Every cent, every dollar is important, and I hope kind humans will help me. Thank you for your kindness and support.

I'm nervous that the infection has passed into the blood and cancer will start, please help

I am currently facing a severe and life-threatening staphylococcus bone infection that has progressed rapidly and is causing serious damage to the bone and surrounding tissue. The infection has entered my bloodstream, which creates a high risk of it spreading further to vital organs, including my heart. My condition continues to worsen despite ongoing medical attention. Doctors are now seriously discussing urgent surgical options, including the possibility of spinal surgery to repair and replace damaged bone structures. My mobility and overall health are declining day by day, and the infection is significantly affecting the function of my left leg, making it increasingly difficult for me to use it. I am in need of immediate, intensive treatment. The funds raised will go directly toward urgent spinal surgery, long-term intravenous antibiotic therapy, and essential medications required to control and fight the infection. I am currently a U.S. resident without full documentation, which means I do not have access to public healthcare support and must cover all medical expenses on my own. My priority is to stop the infection, preserve my life, and regain as much mobility and function as possible. I also hope to return to my family in Georgia in the future. I never imagined being in this situation a year ago. I am scared, but I am doing everything I can to continue treatment and fight for my recovery. Any support, whether through a donation or simply sharing this campaign, would make a meaningful difference in my situation and my chance to survive and heal. Staphylococcal bone infection (staphylococcal osteomyelitis) is a serious bacterial infection caused by Staphylococcus aureus. When it affects the spine, it can lead to progressive destruction of vertebral bone, severe pain, neurological impairment due to spinal cord or nerve compression, abscess formation, and systemic spread of infection (sepsis). Without urgent treatment, it may result in permanent disability, organ failure, or life-threatening complications.
My name is Shota, and I am an archaeologist and historian from Georgia, now in the United States. I came here seeking treatment for a severe staphylococcal infection in my back that is destroying my bones. After spending four months in the hospital and undergoing two biopsies, my situation has become urgent. The infection is causing terrible pain and has started to affect my legs, making it difficult for me to move. Doctors have warned that if the infection passes into my blood, it could reach my heart and endanger my life very quickly. The only option is an operation to clean my back and remove the infection. This surgery is essential to stop the infection from spreading further and to give me a chance to recover. After the operation, I will need three months of rehabilitation to slowly return to normal life. I am hoping to regain my health so I can return to Georgia, reunite with my father, and continue my work as an archaeologist. I have no one else waiting for me except my father, and this operation is my only chance. I am deeply grateful for any support, whether through donations or words of encouragement. Your help will give me hope and a chance to heal, return home, and get back on my feet. I will thank and pray for everyone who supports me, as your kindness means everything to me. Please share my story if you can, and thank you for reading.
Hello everyone! My name is Shota Avlakhashvili. I am from Georgia and I have been living in the United States for 3 years, working to build a better future. I am a professional historian, specifically an archaeologist. I am currently facing a very serious medical condition. For over a year and a half, I have been battling a severe bacterial infection called staphylococcus (staph infection), located in the lower part of my spine near the coccyx (tailbone area). Over time, the infection has not stopped and has gradually started spreading to other parts of my back. A bone infection like this is extremely serious. When bacteria infect the bone, it becomes very difficult for the body to fight it on its own. If it continues to spread, it can destroy bone tissue and, in severe cases, enter the bloodstream. Once the infection reaches the blood, it can become life-threatening and affect vital organs, including the heart and other major systems. My doctors have recommended surgery, which is necessary to stop the infection from spreading further. The cost of the operation is approximately $32,000. At the moment, I am in a very difficult situation. I do not have full legal documentation status, and I am not in stable employment, which makes it impossible for me to cover both medical and daily living expenses. My future is currently uncertain. I only have one family member — my elderly father, who lives in Georgia. I do not have any other family support here, and I am going through this completely alone. Despite everything, I am trying to stay strong and continue fighting, but at this stage, I cannot do it alone anymore. Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign would already be a huge help. Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read my story. A staphylococcal infection (staph infection) is a bacterial infection caused by Staphylococcus bacteria. These bacteria are commonly found on the skin or in the nose of healthy people, but they can become dangerous if they enter the body through a wound or spread into deeper tissues. When staph bacteria infect deeper tissues such as bone, it can develop into a serious condition called osteomyelitis (bone infection). A bone infection is very difficult to treat because: * Bone tissue has limited blood flow, making it harder for antibiotics to fully reach the infection. * Bacteria can survive deep inside the bone for a long time. * The infection can slowly spread if not fully controlled. If a staphylococcal bone infection is not treated properly, it can lead to serious complications, including: * Progressive destruction of bone tissue. * Chronic, long-term infection. * Spread of bacteria into the bloodstream (sepsis). Once the infection enters the bloodstream, it becomes life-threatening, as it can affect vital organs such as the heart, lungs, and other major systems, requiring urgent medical intervention. For this reason, staphylococcal bone infections are considered a serious medical condition that requires aggressive and often surgical treatment. With respect, Shota Avlakhashvili
