<div>Rigby has been my constant companion, sweet and steady presence, and loving boy for over 9 years. As someone that has struggled deeply with anxiety and depression, Rigby has been a source of strength and comfort in the midst of very difficult days. My job is centered around making the world a better place, advocating for better conditions for working people, and dignity for all. Needless to say the last several months have been a horrendous struggle to find hope and meaning while watching the destruction of the fabric of our society. But having Rigby by my side has been indispensable in helping me find the strength to get through and continue to fight for a society of justice, compassion, and solidarity.

<div>Unfortunately, Rigby was just diagnosed with kidney disease, and has had to be hospitalized to help bring him back to health. The good news is he has been responding incredibly well to treatment, and the doctors are very optimistic about being able to get him home soon. The bad news is the care is, of course, enormously expensive, and in order to get Rigby back into fighting shape he needs to continue treatment just a bit longer. He is on the road to a great recovery, but the cost is crushing.

<font color="#333333">Hi everyone, I take no joy in creating this gofundme. Money certainly doesn’t bring Gloria back, but it can be a glimmer of hope in a desperate time of need. In a time where we feel helpless, it’s a way to help. <br /><br />Gloria was killed in a hit and run accident around 12:30 AM on 8/20. The incident is still under investigation so there are no other details to share right now.<br /><br />Gloria leaves behind her incredible partner, Zach Vickers, and beautiful daughter, Luna San Miguel Vickers.<br /><br />We will love and cherish every memory we have of you Gloria. Thank you for being a warm light to us all. Most of us can confidently say we are better people from knowing you and will miss you dearly. <br /><br />These funds will go to Zach and Luna for any funeral expenses, life expenses, and hopefully provide even a thin layer of comfort after such a true tragedy. <br /><br />Just want to UPDATE here: this Gofundme has been directly linked to Zach’s bank account and his account only. This money is for him to decide what to do with it in the best interest of Gloria, Luna, and himself. I have raised the limit multiple times in hopes of raising more funds to help them. This will be a lifelong hinderance that will cost them more than $10, $15, $50K. I’m trying to do my best here with what I’m working with to help my buddy and his little family.
