We must continue the fight.... We were all devastated when our dear friend, Rich Villalva, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last May. True to Rich's style, he battled the cancer bravely, enduring 6 months of chemotherapy and 8 hours of the whipple surgery. Now he has received more difficult news. The cancer has spread to his lymph nodes and he has at least 9 more months of chemotherapy and radiation to endure. The outcome is uncertain. He cannot return to work for at least a year, if ever. His short term disability has run out and he may have several months wait before long term disability kicks in. Meanwhile, his medical bills are mounting. Rich maintains his positive outlook and is determined not to quit this fight. His loved ones are determined to eliminate the financial stress so he can concentrate on healing. Rich has always been there for others. For many of his friends, he has been a rock of strength and support. He needs us now. Help us keep our friend focused on healing.
