From my sister-
In 2021, my husband was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and underwent surgery to remove his spleen and a large tumor, followed by chemotherapy from February to August 2022. Unfortunately, after a period of remission, the cancer returned, forming a new tumor that spread to his stomach, pancreas, and other surrounding organs. He’s now in advance stage 4. He is currently a patient at MD Anderson, preparing for five weeks of radiation treatments, followed by an 18 hour surgery involving nine doctors. The surgery will involve removing his stomach and half of his pancreas, adrenal gland, as the tumor invaded multiple organs. This surgery is scheduled for the end of September.
As the sole provider for our family, the financial burden of medical bills, traveling expenses, & treatments, has become overwhelming. We are in need of support to help cover these expenses, and any donation, big or small , would make a significant difference.
Most people may think MD Anderson is a free hospital but I assure you it’s not. Your generosity would allow us to focus on healing without the added stress of financial worries. We appreciate any prayers or support during this challenging time. God Bless
