Joy Boatright

Kanoa is starting this fundraiser for Joy, a beloved friend who is only 27 years old and has already endured more than most people ever should. Joy recently suffered her third stroke as a result of Behçet's Disease, a rare and chronic inflammatory disorder that causes swelling in the blood vessels throughout the body. Because of this disease, Joy has now suffered three strokes and is no longer able to use the right side of her body as intended. She can only walk with a cane and with some assistance, and her daily life has changed in heartbreaking ways. Right now, Joy is on disability and unable to work, which has placed an even greater burden on top of everything else she is facing. This fundraiser will help ease some of that weight by covering medical bills, rehabilitation, and daily living expenses while Joy focuses on healing and adjusting to this difficult chapter. Kanoa truly hopes Joy's story reaches the hearts of people who care. Joy is a sweet person who has endured so much over the years, and any support, whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean so much.
