 Michelle Duberry unexpectedly tragically lost her son, Micah, on August 13th. To support Michelle during this difficult time, we are raising money for the incurred funeral expenses and other associated costs.

</div>
<div>
 Micah was a brilliant artist and scholar and was preparing to start college in the fall. He had a passion for music and photography. To know him was to know love.

Honoring Michelle's Son with a Loving Farewell

<div>Kaye O’Neal is a dedicated birth worker, doula, and student midwife in Alabama who is passionate about providing compassionate, knowledgeable care to families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. As a young Black mother herself, Kaye understands firsthand how important safe, supportive care is during one of the most vulnerable and life-changing seasons in a person’s life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Her journey into birth work is deeply personal. After experiencing birth trauma and witnessing the disparities that continue to impact Black mothers and babies across the South, she felt called to help change outcomes in her community. Over the years, she has supported families through pregnancy and birth, provided postpartum support, and even donated breast milk to mothers across multiple states.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, Kaye is working to complete the clinical placement required for her certification as a midwife. In order to do this, she has to travel to another state to attend births under the supervision of a trained midwife and fulfill the hands-on clinical requirements necessary for certification. Alabama is in desperate need of more midwives, especially Black midwives, as maternal mortality rates and provider shortages continue to impact families across the state.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Becoming a midwife is an extremely demanding process, and most student midwives must fund years of training largely on their own while balancing work, parenting, and clinical hours. As a mother of four who continues serving families in her community while pursuing this training, Kaye is seeking support to help make this next step possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds raised will help cover:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Travel expenses
</div>
<div>Gas and transportation costs
</div>
<div>Food and basic living expenses
</div>
<div>Clinical and training-related costs
</div>
<div>Your support will help Kaye focus fully on completing her placement and continuing the work of serving mothers and families who deserve compassionate, culturally aware care. Every donation, share, and word of encouragement helps bring her one step closer to becoming a certified midwife and expanding access to maternal health support in Alabama and throughout the Deep South.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for supporting Kaye’s journey.

</div>
<div>Dear friends , family , &amp; compassionate strangers
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today we come to you with a humble request for help . My 4 year old daughter RyanRose has been bravely battling a heart condition known as dialated cardiomyopathy for the past 6 months . This condition has transformed her life and the lives of those around her.If you are new here here is a bit about her journey
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>RyaRose was born October 1st 2019 at 27weeks gestation weighing 1lb 10oz . She’s been fighting battles since birth . Chronic lung disease , pulmonary dysplasia, paralyzed vocal chord , rare genetic disease etc . All battles she has overcame these past 5 years . RyanRose has recently developed cardiomyopathy which was a result of her genectic disease . She since been back in and out of the hospital every month with low ejection fractions (heart function percentage) . This most recent one as low as 11% the normal being 55% . We are now at the stage of RyanRose needing a new heart .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The best facility for care for RyanRose is the children’s hospital of Pittsburgh , meaning we would have to relocate which is tough since I , RyanRose mom just birthed twin boys on July 2nd so with Ryan’s condition getting worse this has put a strain on our family and my recovery post partum.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The whole family will eventually need a place to stay together more long term for the recovering process. Funds will essentially cover housing expenses, bills &amp; the burden of not being able to work due to her care . The costs associated with her care are mounting rapidly. If RyanRose is approved for a transplant, she will need to stay in Pittsburgh until she receives a new heart. The thought of being away from home, coupled with the financial strain, is daunting. This is where we need your help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We understand that times are tough for everyone, but every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in RyanRose’s journey to recovery. Your generosity will ensure that she and our family can focus on her healing without the added stress of financial burdens.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please consider donating to Ryan’s GoFundMe page and sharing her story with others. Together, we can help her fight this battle and bring hope back into her life. Thank you for your love, support, and for keeping Ryan in your thoughts and prayers.

I want to thank each of you for your generous contributions to The Justice for Jonathan GoFundMe page.<br /><br />My close childhood friend, Jonathan Price, was fatally shot by a police officer in my<br />hometown of Wolfe City, TX on October 3rd, 2020.<br /><br />Jonathan was a community leader and mentor, who was killed while trying to break up a domestic dispute.<br /><br />Your outreach and aid have made it possible to give Jonathan the memorial he deserves, so we can forever honor his memory.<br /><br />While we can’t respond to each and every expression of love sent, we thank you. The funds will go toward the care of Jonathan’s final expenses, his family, including his sister, April Louis, and to the community that showed this overwhelming outpouring of support.<br /><br />Jonathan will be missed by everyone whose life he touched. He always looked for ways to help others, so to honor his passion for giving back, we are currently in the process of establishing a Memorial Fund in Jonathan’s name. May his legacy last forever.<br /><br />Thank you, again, for your overwhelming gifts of love and support.<br /><br />- Will Middlebrooks
