My name is GriffinGamingRPG, and together with my co-producer SeriousFun, we host the SOL Citizens podcast. We have been honored with invitations to the Cloud Imperium Games Squadron 42 VIP event in Manchester, U.K. this coming October 9-11, 2026. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us to connect with the creators, share our passion for the Star Citizen community, and represent the SOL Citizens supporters at this eagerly anticipated event, 14 years in the making. Unfortunately, both SeriousFun and I are currently facing significant family responsibilities. I am retired and caring for my mom, who is 102 and living with dementia. SeriousFun is unemployed and supporting his wife as well as both parents, who are all facing significant health challenges. These caregiver responsibilities have made it difficult for us to afford the travel expenses that would otherwise be within our reach. Donations will go directly toward airfare, transportation, and hotel accommodations, making it possible for us to attend the event and bring back experiences and insights to share with our listeners. Fastcart FC is a co-founder and co-producer of SOL CITIZENS, and has been a dedicated supporter and community ambassador for Cloud Imperium Games’ upcoming titles, STAR CITIZEN and SQUADRON 42, for over 12 years. He is proud to represent those living with disabilities and is considered a community ambassador, always striving to make the Star Citizen community welcoming and inclusive. Despite limited finances, Fastcart FC has managed to save enough each year to attend every Star Citizen convention held in the United States over the past decade. This year, he has been invited to attend an exclusive VIP event at Cloud Imperium Games headquarters in Manchester, England. The cost for travel, accommodations, and transportation is at least twice what it would be for a convention in the United States, making it a significant challenge for him. Attending this event would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, allowing him to connect with fellow fans, developers, and community leaders. Fastcart FC has contributed to the Star Citizen community for over a decade, moderating community events, participating in interviews on podcast livestreams, and sharing his insights on the SOL Citizens podcast. When possible, he has celebrated his birthday (October 8th) with community members at conventions, further strengthening the bonds within the community.
