Born in the midst of a war-torn night, the baby suffered from malnutrition and disease, her fragile existence hanging by a thread as the hospitals struggled to provide adequate care amidst the chaos.

The canvas walls offered little protection from the relentless sounds of bombings and gunfire that echoed through the air. Each night brought the haunting reality of not knowing if the next explosion would tear through the fragile shelter, forcing them to flee into the darkness. Amidst the chaos, simple tasks like finding clean water and food became monumental challenges, as resources grew scarce amidst the devastation.

The entire population is experiencing indiscriminate bombing, shootings, destruction of 80% of buildings, destruction of water wells and plants, little to no access to food that isn't extremely over-priced, and more. We are their only support as they survive this catastrophe with no money for outrageously priced food, aid, no shelter from the elements, no medical clinics or hospitals, no fuel, electricity, denial of anything for survival..

<div>My name is Yasser, I am 24 years old, and I am from Gaza. My life, along with my family’s, was peaceful and secure in our modest home until October 7th, a day that turned our lives upside down. On that day, the occupation forces completely destroyed our home, forcing us to flee under bombardment and fire.

<div>Initially, we moved to Al-Bureij, but we found no safety there either, as we were bombed again. We had no choice but to flee once more, this time to Al-Zawaida camp at my aunt’s house. However, even there, we were not spared from the intense bombing. Life was unbearable, surrounded by destruction everywhere.

<div>We decided to escape to the south, to Rafah near the Egyptian border, hoping to find a safe haven. But after yet another attack on Rafah, we were forced to displace again to the central region. This was the fourth time we left everything behind, trying to survive.

<div>Everywhere we go, we suffer from repeated displacement, continuous bombing, and the omnipresent scent of blood and death. We have lost many loved ones. My other uncle also lost his life, his wife was seriously injured, and their children were lost during an attack on Gaza.

But now all my other brothers and sisters with their families moved in our house, because their houses became completely unhabitable. 60 people in 3 bedroom house.Unfortunately I lost my mum due to this horrific war. She had cancer and it was not possible to take her to any functional hospital for treatment due to bombadment. We couldn't help her and she suffered a lot in agony as it was no even painkillers , and passed away.

<div>My name is Yasser, I am 24 years old, and I am from Gaza. My life, along with my family’s, was peaceful and secure in our modest home until October 7th, a day that turned our lives upside down. On that day, the occupation forces completely destroyed our home, forcing us to flee under bombardment and fire.

<div>Initially, we moved to Al-Bureij, but we found no safety there either, as we were bombed again. We had no choice but to flee once more, this time to Al-Zawaida camp at my aunt’s house. However, even there, we were not spared from the intense bombing. Life was unbearable, surrounded by destruction everywhere.

<div>We decided to escape to the south, to Rafah near the Egyptian border, hoping to find a safe haven. But after yet another attack on Rafah, we were forced to displace again to the central region. This was the fourth time we left everything behind, trying to survive.

<div>Everywhere we go, we suffer from repeated displacement, continuous bombing, and the omnipresent scent of blood and death. We have lost many loved ones. I lost my uncle, his six children, and his grandchildren in one bombing. My aunt and her entire family perished in another attack. One of my uncles was killed along with his wife, and one of their children was severely injured. My other uncle also lost his life, his wife was seriously injured, and their children were lost during an attack on Gaza.

<div>Today, I live in constant fear of losing my parents, my brothers, and my sisters. My family consists of nine members: my father Osama, 56, my mother Sabreen, 47, Areej, 21, Malk, 17, Menna Allah, 15, Rimas, 12, and Mohammed, 10. We are trying to survive in merciless conditions, and we need your help to escape this nightmare.

There was nothing healthy in it. How long have we been like this? We have become among the dead due to the bad situation here. Please. <div>Here we spend moments making a cup of coffee as a way to make it easy for ourselves, but the temperature and lighting a fire inside the tent makes us forget the delicious taste of coffee, so things become complicated. Even with drinking coffee, nothing is like before. A cup of coffee was one of the priorities of our day and still is, but Who brings back our days and our previous feelings of drinking it. I wish everything would go back to the way it was before. Diaries inside the tent. Diaries of a displaced person like this. It has become our address wherever we appear.

With a Software Development degree in hand and the honor of being the first in my class with a GPA of 95.71, the joy and sense of accomplishment radiate from this moment. Little did I know that the backdrop of this milestone would soon be marred by the devastating impact of war. As the conflict unfolded, dreams were shattered, and the very foundation upon which my aspirations were built crumbled. This image encapsulates not only the triumph of educational success but also serves as a visual narrative of the stark reality that war has the power to dismantle the dreams of individuals striving for a better future.

<div>Our family home in the Tal-Elhawa in the Gaza Strip, once a haven of laughter and love, now stands fractured and marred by war's relentless touch. Each corner of destruction around us is a stark reminder of the peace and tranquillity that seem like distant dreams. Within these broken walls, my family, encompassing my parents, siblings, and young nephews, clings to fragments of hope. We live with the constant fear of getting lost in the rubble or succumbing to the relentless barrage of rockets.

The university where I studied Software Development and graduated from being the first of my class now lies in ruins, a poignant symbol of our shattered educational aspirations. My siblings, once eager to embark on their educational journey, now stand at a crossroads, their paths to learning and growth obscured by the debris of war.

<div>In Gaza, the birthplace of my dreams, the scenery has been permanently altered by war. This war has taken from us much more than our homes and familiar surroundings; it has also robbed us of cherished friends. Each loss has taken a toll on my spirit, gradually fading the future I had imagined for myself and my family in these turbulent times.
