Hi, my name is brendy and I’m raising funds for my dad’s headstone.
Everyone keeps donating as it will help my dad so that he can rest in peace and also to help raise money to construct for his gravestone please, as need friends and families to help! ❤️
My dad was rushed to QA Hospital, where a 3+ hour emergency due to severe breathlessness and unconsciousness and the NHS team has saved him and remains in intensive care, drifting in and out of consciousness, showing small but hopeful signs.
The road ahead is long and uncertain – but if you know my dad, you know he’s a fighter but he as he was at hospital until they called us saying there’s nothing they can do , so they transferred him to his care-home and his final words were “ Brendy darling you’re always my angel “.
We are deeply grateful to all the incredible hospital staff for keeping my dad alive for a short period time and caring for him daily.
My dad is more than a patient – he’s a devoted partner to my mum, a loving dad to two young children, and a cherished son, brother, daughter and friend. He’s the person who shows up when you need help, who listens, who puts everyone before himself.
This is a fundraiser to provide a modest headstone for the unmarked grave of my dad.
We have found this grave and require funds to help put up a permanent headstone. The carving and installation of this headstone will cost approximately £6000. After, we have the funds and provide the monument.
I need this donation so that I can help my dad to find a beautiful headstone for him to peacefully rest in peace with god in heaven! ❤️
The funds will be used for permanent headstone for him to provide, so that he can rest peacefully and me and my families can visit him at his headstone anytime ❤️
This is connected to this cause, is because I want to do something special and nice for my dad as he has helped and supported me a-lot and he was the best dad ever! So I want to help him to have the best resting place for him to have peace at with God in Heaven ❤️
Also, we need this donation, is because it will help my dad so much as that he deserves to rest in peace in a beautiful headstone for him!
We ask that everyone to donate for my dad’s help in this cause. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. ❤️
As, my dad was buried on Friday 24th October 2025 at his funeral following a burial, as the limousine driver came to pick me and my family up and drove us to the funeral directors where we saw my dads hurase with my dads coffin inside it and his picture, it was the saddest moment ever.
Also, when we have arrived at the cemetery me and my family had to say our final goodbyes and our final words to him and watching him get buried with our own eyes, it was so emotional and heartbreaking to watch, it’s so hard , especially seeing my on dad watching his coffin getting buried down was making me crying so much and I never felt so sad and very emotional before as it has affected me and my family so much!

My Dad’s Health journey
My Dads Health Journey:
Story about my dad’s health journey on Tuesday 19th of August 2025, as I found my dad breathless on his bed due to his severe respiratory issues and I suddenly called the ambulance straight away and he was rushed to hospital due to loads of severe illnesses and conditions he had, which was affecting him , which made him sick and not very well, as he was in the coma for one week and then pulled through thanks to the NHS (Hospital as they are legends as always)
Then on Wednesday 20th August 2025, as the hospital phoned there is bad news about my dad’s conditions- saying there’s nothing they can do to treat my dads severe illnesses, which they said anytime he could pass away, and me and my family were very devastated by that news!
Then on Monday 15th September 2025, he was then transferred to his care-home as the staff members at his care-home, were so supportive and helpful to him , then I went to see him on Tuesday 16th September 2025, to check to see how he was doing and I thought he was getting better as he looks like he was getting better.
Also, on Wednesday 24th of September 2025, I went to visit my dad at his care-home again to check up on him to see how he was feeling, I noticed his severe health conditions and severe respiratory issues, was affecting him so much.
As, time goes by and he was getting worse and worse each time, as he wasn’t himself as I noticed he was getting weaker and weaker and his health conditions were progressively getting worse, and quickly, whilst on his care-home bed, as he wasn’t himself due to his severe health conditions as it continued to progressively increased everyday.
Therefore, on Saturday 27th of September 2025 , I went to see him at his carehome and this time he was slowly closing his eyes on his care-home bed, due to his severe illnesses and severe respiratory diseases were unfortunately progressed very suddenly , as he was quickly becoming more weaker and unconscious, that’s when the care-home staff told me and my family, friends, that sadly my Dad has passed out at 7pm.
As, he passed away soon after at his Care-home Bed at 7:00pm 27/ 09/25 (Saturday 27th September 2025) due to his Severe Health Conditions and Severe Respiratory Diseases -
❤️ After being transferred to his care-home on Monday 15th September 2025.

My heart was in shock and getting emotional as it was the most emotional, painful, and heartbreaking moment for me and my family!
Loosing a dad and father is like nothing i’ve felt before, as it’s affecting with my mental health and never thought that losing a parent would make me feel so emotional , he was the best dad ever and it happens so quickly .

My Dad was a radiant soul whose warmth and laughter lit up every room he entered. At such a young age , he carried a heart far bigger than his year’s overflowing with love with music , his family , and anyone lucky enough to cross his path. ❤️
Dad had a had a gift of joy: weather his bubbly personality, or the way he strummed his guitar and sang with cheerful smile on his face. He never stopped lifting others up. His kindness was relentless, his smile unwavering , and his spirit unforgettable.
My Dad was to know as a kindness in form and purest. He had a way of sensing when someone needed to laugh, smile and be positive or just a moment in lightness and he gave it freely, without hesitation. His love for music mirrored his gentle nature and his gentle nature and his devotion to his family and tender. Though his journey was not without pain, dad chose to meet the world with music with reggae as it was his favourite ,laughter , love and joy.
His memory lives on in every song he sang, every smile he sparked, and every heart he touched. He was and always will be a bright, loving, happy, bright light in our lives.
