I never imagined I’d find myself in this position, but life has thrown me more than a few curveballs lately. I lost my job because of ongoing health issues—sciatica and a hernia have made it impossible for me to keep working, and just when I thought things couldn’t get tougher, my car broke down too. It’s been two months since I last worked, and I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat. Unfortunately, my job rejected my unemployment claim, so I haven’t had any income coming in. My rent is piling up, and I’m struggling to cover even the most basic expenses.

 On top of all this, I need to have surgery for my hernia, and the pre-admission costs alone are more than I can manage right now. I’m doing my best to stay hopeful, but it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed. That’s why I’m reaching out for help. Any support you can offer—no matter how small—would mean the world to me. Your kindness will help me get the medical care I need, keep a roof over my head, and give me a chance to recover and get back on my feet.
