<div>We are heartbroken to share that Christy McWilliams of Norwalk, CT passed away suddenly in her sleep on Tuesday April 22, 2025 from complications of her Type 1 Diabetes. Christy was a beloved member of the Norwalk community, showcased by her involvement at St Philip Church, the St. Ann’s Club, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Christy was a dedicated educator, working over ten years in the Norwalk Public Schools system. Her commitment to her community and those around her has always been unwavering. Those who knew her know her love, her kindness, and her fierce devotion to those she loves. To know her is to love her, and she will be sorely missed.

<div>She leaves behind her three sons TJ (25), Jeb (22), and Luke (21) Boyrer. At the time of her death, Christy was working multiple jobs to support her children so that they could live at home worry free and focus on attending school and tackling the debt that comes along with it. Christy is also survived by her mother Betty Tavella Brink of Norwalk, CT.

<div>There will be a memorial mass celebrated on Saturday May 10th, 2025 at 10am at St Philip Church in Norwalk. St Philip is located at 1 Father Conlon Place in Norwalk, CT.

<div>Our goal is to raise $9000 to help cover expenses for cremation and memorial services. Any leftover funds will be donated to Christy’s three surviving children for college debt, in honor of her memory and dedication to supporting them.

<div>The sudden passing of Tommy has left a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His unexpected departure has sent shockwaves through his family and community, leaving behind a sense of sorrow and disbelief. Tommy was not only a loving husband but also a devoted father to his two-year-old daughter, Brooklyn. His bond with his family was palpable, and his absence has created an irreplaceable void that will be felt for years to come.

<div>In the wake of this tragedy, there has been an outpouring of support from friends, family, and well-wishers who are eager to assist Tommy's grieving wife, Kim, and their precious daughter, Brooklyn.

The funds raised will go towards immediate and critical expenses, childcare, maintaining their home, and securing a stable future for Brooklyn. <p>When I needed help funding underprivileged kids for the holidays, school clothes, or meals Megan was always there asking what can she do next, so….

<p>If you know Megan and Alex then you know the true definition of strength, courage and fight! Nothing has ever been easy and through it all they have never asked anyone for help! That includes paying for a $20,000 surgery that insurance would not cover back in 2006 and continued health issues for Megan! She has fought and beat cancer, and ALL of the odds against her the last 15 years!

<p>Last week Megan had her 35th surgery, yes you read that correctly, 35! I don’t know anyone who has had that many surgeries and is still standing! She has been told she is a true medical miracle!

<p>As you know medical insurance likes to dictate treatment and decide what they want to cover leaving hard working people with huge medical bills! What is even worse, some doctors will not see you until you pay your bill!  Megan and Alex are always helping everyone and do it from the kindness of their hearts without ever asking for anything in return!

<p>I know personally that Megan (and have witnessed) would give the shirt off her back or her last dollar to someone who needed it!! 15 years is a long time to deal with illness and trying to work just to pay an absurd amount of money for what insurance won’t cover is just too much.  Also “payment plans” don’t help when the bills total more than a years salary! Let’s help relieve the stress and pressure from these two so they can catch a much needed break!!!  Megan didn’t want to put her business out there, she didn’t even want to ask for help, so I am taking this into my own hands and asking for you all to please help much deserving people who have done and still would do the same for all of you!!

<div>The sweetest, sassy, adorable 14-month-old, Stitch, is fighting for his life right now. As of now surgery has already totaled over $10,680 in less than 36 hours and he’s still under emergency care and monitoring.

<div>After a day of vomiting, not being able to keep down water, refusing food, and being in obvious pain, Stitch was rushed to the ER vet. X-rays confirmed a severe intestinal obstruction caused by ingested material. He needed emergency surgery to remove the blockage, and doctors had to remove 50–55% of his small intestine.
</div>

<div>Because of this, Stitch will now have short bowel syndrome and will require lifelong special care — a strict diet, medications, close monitoring, and frequent vet visits. During surgery, they also found and removed a significant amount of fluid in his abdomen. He is currently being closely monitored, and the next critical step is getting him stable and interested in eating on his own.

<div>This fundraiser is for our girl Jade (she would never ask for help but she is one of the most selfless people you’ll ever meet. She helps everyone, never asks for a thing, and would literally give the shirt off her back. She is constantly rescuing dogs, helping them find better homes, and showing up for others without hesitation-animals and humans!
