My name is Patrick Langlois, born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Canada - here is my story and how I will help raise funds.
This past year changed my life in ways I’m still processing.
After losing both of my parents only months apart, watching people I love battle cancer and Alzheimer’s, and seeing the emotional impact these illnesses have on entire families, I’ve realized this story is bigger than me.
Yes, I’ve been affected personally — physically, emotionally, and mentally — but this message is not about asking people to save me.
It’s about honoring the people around me who suffered, the caregivers who carry invisible weight every day, and the families trying to hold everything together while navigating grief, fear, and uncertainty.
Instead of focusing inward, I want to direct support outward.
Any funds raised will go toward organizations, care initiatives, research, or direct support connected to cancer and Alzheimer’s causes. Even sharing this message helps continue awareness for families quietly going through these battles right now.
If this past year taught me anything, it’s that illness never affects just one person — it touches everyone around them.
Thank you for reading, supporting, and remembering the people we’ve lost and the people still fighting.
