<div><strong>Liz has been battling cancer like the warrior she is since 2023.</strong> Despite all the treatments, all the battles fought and won, the ups and downs, Liz and her loved ones were told that the cancer has spread to every lobe of her brain. Those who love her don't want to think about how much time she has or we have with her, but rather how to make the time we have the best we can. Starting with sending her to her top bucket list destination: Scotland!

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>To that end, we're starting this campaign to ask for any donations that you're able to spare. While the big goal is Scotland, her health may ultimately not allow her to travel that far, but any funds raised will go towards bucket list activities, general quality of life maintenance, and medical bills. You can check out her TikTok at Ghosty X Star to get caught up on her journey.

Help Liz show cancer she's gonna live her best life!

<div>This GoFundMe is being created to bring awareness and show support for our late hero Vincent Parr who was the son of Becky and Doug Parr and the brother of Alison, Emily, Abigail, and Alexandra. Vincent died on Sunday 8/20/2023 in the early afternoon after heroically saving his wife and her child from the Swift River in NH when they got caught in the currents near an eddy. He dove in without a second thought and saved both of them before getting caught himself and was unable to surface. Bystanders tried their best to get him out of the river, but the current was too strong and he ended up slipping away for several minutes before resurfacing and receiving CPR. Unfortunately, he did not survive despite all the efforts from bystanders, EMS, and the police.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Vincent was a family man and had a pure heart of gold. He treated others how he wanted to be treated and would go out of his way to make someone smile, even if it made him look silly. He NEVER missed a holiday, birthday, or even a casual family get-together. He was the glue that held strong and always kept positive and logical no matter what situation was thrown at him or the rest of his family. He was the best of us and was taken 37 years young from this world. His bravery goes unmatched and we know that if he had the chance, he would do the same heroic actions of jumping into that river and saving those two lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are trying to ease the financial burden during this hard and stressful time and give Vincent the peace and proper service/burial that he deserves. Any donation no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated and we thank you. He touched the hearts of so many and to say that he will be greatly missed is the understatement of the century. There aren't many people like Vince, he is a rare breed in the best of ways. If he ever made a difference in your life or ever left you with a smile, please come and pay your respects and say goodbye for now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All proceeds will go to the parents Doug and Becky Parr to help pay for funeral expenses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The service will be held on Wednesday, August 30th.  If you are interested in attending, please reach out for details regarding place and time.

<div>Hi I'm Honeyboyx0. Me and some of my friends are hosting a charity livestream to support the Starlight Foundation. A non-profit organization which since 1982, has been dedicated to helping families with ill or injured children. We have set our sites to give back and raise money to support them in their goal. Help us honor this cause by checking out our live-stream on Friday, May 13th and consider donating. Thanks!

Merri Doherty

<div>Hi there! I'm Merri:)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What do I do?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm a Wildlife and Conservation Biology major at the University of Rhode Island! I'm taking a semester off (more on that later...) to work my two jobs in beauty and childcare. In my limited free time I care for my bearded dragon, Hugo, make time to see my wonderful friends, and stay active in my community where I can.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>What happened?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When I went to go pay my Spring 2025 tuition, I found out my financial aid had not been applied correctly. I battled with my university's administration and even the Department of Education, but they all said nothing could be done for me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have tried every avenue and have spoken to every person. Endless meetings with endless conversations that lead me down the same path: right back where I started. At an over $10,000 bill I need to pay before I can enroll in classes again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Why do I care?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Wildlife conservation has been something close to my heart since before I knew there were words to describe it. I remember growing up and watching Bindi the Jungle Girl thinking to myself "one day, I'll be just like her," and I'm almost there. I'm over 60% of the way done with my degree and I'm not stopping until I'm finished. This Earth and its creatures need a voice to speak for them and I will be that voice. I want to create accessible and fun conservation education for people of all ages, abilities, and learning styles, so that everyone has a chance to love this planet, our home, as much as I do. My dream is to make wildlife conservation available to all so that all will want to conserve wildlife.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for your time and I truly hope you consider donating and sharing.
