Help Us Build a Clinic for Blind Students in Freetown, Sierra Leone. In Freetown, Sierra Leone, students at the School for the Blind face many challenges each day. While they work hard to pursue their education, one critical need remains unmet: access to reliable medical care. When a student becomes ill or requires basic treatment, there is often no nearby facility specifically prepared to support blind or visually impaired students. Simple health issues can quickly become serious when care is not immediately available. To address this need, Jainny Tejan-Kella has started this initiative to transform a small building near the school into a dedicated clinic for the blind school community. The building has already been identified, and renovation work has begun. However, the structure still requires major repairs. The roof needs to be secured, the interior must be rebuilt, and the space must be properly equipped before it can safely operate as a clinic. With your support, this building can be transformed into a safe and accessible medical space where blind students can receive essential care. Your donation will help us: • Repair and strengthen the building structure • Complete roofing and essential construction work • Prepare the interior space for medical use • Provide basic medical equipment and supplies This clinic will provide a place where students can receive treatment, health monitoring, and support when they need it most. More importantly, it will ensure that blind students can focus on their education knowing that medical care is available nearby. Every contribution, regardless of size, will bring us closer to opening a clinic that will serve these students for years to come. Your support can help turn this building into a place of care, dignity, and opportunity for blind students in Freetown. Thank you for helping make this vision possible. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Here are just a couple of ways your support can help the Caring Hands Foundation: Funding educational programs for underprivileged children, providing them with the tools they need to succeed. Offering essential health services to families who might otherwise go without necessary care. Please consider donating to this worthy cause. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and bring hope to those who need it most.
