My name is Bill, and I’m reaching out because my car has become a lifeline for my household. It’s essential for everything I do—getting to church, visiting friends and family, seeing my child, picking up groceries, and making it to doctor and medical appointments. Without it, I’d lose my ability to work odd jobs and take care of my daily needs. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to put any more money into repairs, and things just keep going wrong.

 I’ve tried everything I can to keep my car running, but now the transmission is failing and the catalytic converter needs to be replaced. I’ve been taken advantage of by mechanics, and it’s left me feeling defeated. On top of that, I’m disabled and face daily challenges with my health, including arthritis, inflammation, diabetes, high cholesterol, and a genetic heart risk. I also live with mental health issues and was diagnosed as autistic later in life, which makes daily living even more difficult. Despite all this, I’ve always tried to help others whenever I could, but now I find myself in need of help.
