My mother & I are struggling to make ends meet right now. There's a lot of personal stuff going on, but something I can share to give everyone insight on why any help would be appreciated is my mom lost her job. She can't work anymore due to her heart failure that has caused her heart to be only working at 30 percent. On top of that, she has mental health issues that are preventing her from having a work life at this point. I am in recovery and moved in to help her, but because of past choices like felonies from drugs, it prevents me from getting jobs a lot. We are behind over $1,200 in rent and have gotten an eviction notice. With the government shutdown, it's making things even more difficult. Anything is greatly appreciated right now. This would go towards rent, gas money, and other bills as well as to keep feeding our cat.
