Hi guys,  This is Skyler's parents,  Harry and Julie, grandmother Maria and longtime friends Britney and Sabrina. Skyler is a loving daughter, best friend, amazing godmother, and awesome dog mom! Sky was recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast and bone cancer 3 days before her 31st birthday. She is staying #SKYSTRONG as always! But she will need 7 to 8 months of Chemo treatments in preparation for a double mastectomy and radiation treatment.


 


We are humbly asking for any contributions - big or small - to help fund her medical expenses as well as living expenses.  As much as she wishes she could continue working, this is not possible over the course of her treatment.   


 


People gravitate to Sky because she is just that stellar. Anyone who knows her knows she is the life of the party and the first one to help someone in need! <div>Hi everyone. I am making a post for a friend of mine. Today Randi Parker and her amazing family lost their home to a fire. They reside in Greenport, NY. This family has been through so much yet they keep their heads held high and they are the sweetest people you could ever meet! Unfortunately they lost everything including very important and non replaceable memorabilia they had kept after their wife/mom passed away. What makes it even harder is it’s right before the holidays. Any little bit of help will be so appreciated. Help for the Parker and Ruffner family

Having suffered two hurricanes within two weeks Puerto Rico is in really bad shape. If anyone is ever been affected by the tragedy you know how important it is for help. Many people want to do things and they don’t know what to do and send love and prayers which are always welcome. Making monetary donations is tangible and incredibly helpful . It doesn’t take a lot, your donations can be anonymous and the smallest amounts are helpful. If a lot of people donate a little it all adds up. Milka Ramos, one of my beautiful sisters, is heading over to Puerto Rico because her family is there and have been affected. Her town has been wiped out and she is trying to relocate her family. I have set an initial goal of $5000 because we really don’t know how much it’s going to cost. I will update the campaign with news as it happens and let you all know how she is faring as well as her community. I am asking anyone and everyone to extend any help they possibly can and please feel free to share. This is real aid going directly to the source. Milka is going over, on her own and staying there, she is in it for the long-haul. She will also be volunteering with local efforts to rebuild. Any and all monies will go directly to rebuilding, helping support her while she’s volunteering and aiding in efforts to restore her family and community.

Unfortunately, on April 29th she lost her battle. As a long time resident of Greenport, Jane spent her life raising her three boys, working hard, and making people laugh. As this GofFundMe was originally created to alleviate living expenses while Jane was undergoing treatment, donations will now be allocated to alleviate expenses for a memorial service. Every donation, no matter how big or small could help her family in such a difficult time.

Pocket Full Of Sunshine-MommaNancy

Our friend George Mason died on Jan 19, 2016 from complications of a long illness.  Anyone who ever knew George knows him as a super kind and polite man, wth a huge heart of gold.. he would do what ever he could to see somebody smile. Though he work hard all his life in various jobs on the water, and on land, he always sturuggled fianancially.. after becoming ill, he ended up on disability, living on a meger income, and hoping for others to help him in his time of need for things he was no longer able to do, like get him up/donth stairs, and drive him to his doctors, and such. Upon his last trip to the hospital, after a week in ICU, George passed away, leaving no money or will for the few things he owned, and there is noone in a position to take care of his burial needs, So I am taking up this collection starting on Jan 28th, 2016; 10 days after he died, to raise money As Soon As Possible for a small service and to bury him graveside with his Mom, so he doesnt end up in a county potters field.. and any money that is left over after all his needs for respect are taken care of will be donated to the Southold Fire Deptment Rescue Unit that took care of him so many times in Georges name.
