Katelyn Hazeltine

My name is Katelyn and I am a barn manager for a very close friend who rehabs thoroughbred horses from the track. Our mission is to re-home our misfit horses that either did not make the cut or whose careers ended due to injuries. These horses still deserve a new home with new careers. Every day, I see firsthand the resilience and spirit of these animals as they adjust to life beyond the racetrack. Many of them arrive scared or injured, but with patience and care, we help them heal and prepare for loving new homes. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch them transform and find families who cherish them. Unfortunately, we have hit a bump in the road financially and are struggling to provide hay, grain, and vet care for our horses.
